- ACAlex C3 days ago2.0Would not recommend if you have a reactive dog. We have been going here for a couple years and have never had a problem until recently when trying to get shots for my reactive dog. We had made a care plan before coming back, a care plan I felt very confident and comfortable about. When I got there it seemed as though I had been deemed “unlikable” and our care plan had been thrown out the window. I was met with aggressive and passive aggressive behavior about not wanting to hand over my very reactive dog to complete strangers. I have NEVER felt so uncomfortable at any doctor appointment for any of my kids, pets or myself. The complete cold shoulders, and what looked like annoyance was absolutely uncalled for. I was trying to advocate for my dog and honestly protect the vet techs and my dog. Their attitude towards me had me in tears, bringing a reactive dog to an appointment is already stressful enough. Let alone to feel hated by the staff for no reason. After not following our care plan, me having to advocate for my pet and the staffs safety, she ended up getting a shot she didn’t even need because of a mistake they made. Maybe if we would’ve been treated with care and compassion, instead of aggression and annoyance, a mistake wouldn’t had been made. I would NOT recommend for a reactive dog at all. I’m giving 2 stars and not 0 because they did end up giving us the care we needed. It wasn’t every staff member. But we won’t be returning.
