  Dr.Hoshimoto is very unprofessional, condescending, and patronizing. We went in today for our cat, interrupted multiple times and mocked/scoffed at by Dr. When my partner said "I read this online" unable to finish the sentence Dr interrupted saying "here we go again". If you want to pay to be humiliated and gaslighted go here and see this Hoshimoto.

  Bad experience. First off. They charge extra for you to be with your animal while they euthanize. How horrible. Second. It costs $400 to put a cat to sleep. And then extra to be there. Also… today I asked if there was a payment plan… and the girl laughed in my face, saying all payment has to be made upfront. Rudest experience ever. NEVR going back.

  I cannot find the words to tell you just how special of a team there is working at this clinic! From the competent receptionists, to the kindest vet techs to the most thoughtful & thorough veterinarians (we had Doolie, Krogey & Braun in the past few years) & the sweetest Clinic Manager, Laura Cole, wow! We could not have asked for better support managing our dog’s care. You will not regret paying for a care club plan! In our time here, I was always listened to & my pet’s needs understood. In the end we had a complicated request and the team worked so hard & even after hours to help us out. We will never forget the humane treatment of our beloved family dog & the accommodations made in our time of need. Such incredible professionals through & through. The love & care given to us was beyond our wildest imagination of how “the vet” should be. Thank you for everything, VCA BG team.

  I had an establishment of care, quick appt scheduled for my dog before scheduling his neuter visit. It took me a bit longer than anticipated getting him leashed up and into the office with 4 kids (our schedule changed last minute). We walked in, they checked us in, had us weigh the dog and took us to an exam room. Then came back in a minute and said "since you were 10 minutes late, I'm going to go see if the doctor will still see you". (FYI, the parking lot was EMPTY). They came back and said "yeah, the team talked, and since you were 10 minutes late, you'll have to reschedule". They had no compassion or friendliness. Only Rude and harsh. I told them we would find a new vet.

  VCA was wonderful with my asthmatic cat. I got in right away and they were very kind and professional. They have a beautiful facility and a large staff and I love how I was able to make a next day appointment. They definitely charge a little more than local vets but it is so hard to get my animals seen in a timely manner with Battle Ground and Brush Prairie vets that it’s worth it to me. VCA is now my preferred veterinarian office.
