  We've had consistently good experiences with the people at VCA Battle Ground. Thanks, everybody there for helping us take care of our furry family, through good and bad.

  We came for our first visit to Battle Ground VCA, since our previous vet unexpectedly shut down. Our initial exam for all 3 pets was free! Also, since we live an hour away, they were able to accommodate all 3 pets on the same day, with two dogs sharing the first visit. And our cat was scheduled the second visit. They have a large room, and allowed us to have all 3 pets with us at the same time, so no one had to wait in the car. The room was clean, and had no smells. Dr Duffy was our veterinarian. She was friendly, and thorough. We have a Golden who is uncharacteristically frightened at the vet, and gets aggressive. He was medicated prior to the visit, and they brought a muzzle for me to put on him before the vaccination. He only growled and turned toward the vet tech once, and then allowed me to hold him while they gave him 3 shots. Then I showed Dr. his ears and teeth, then Dr Duffy let me take his muzzle off and she reassured him with petting and kind words. Before and after the shots, he was relaxed and even wagged his tail. This was the most successful visit he has had in 6 years! Even though Battle Ground VCA is an hour away from us, we will continue to take our pets to them. Their patience, kindness and compassion were evident, and showed in the demeanor of our pets!

  They are supposed to honor being affiliated with the humane society when you adopt from them and they dont even though I showed then paperwork. My cat also needed a shot they told me I needed to get done elsewhere??? I was confused about that, i still am honestly? Extremely expensive for no reason. Just go to mountain view in salmon creek.

  Dr.Hoshimoto is very unprofessional, condescending, and patronizing. We went in today for our cat, interrupted multiple times and mocked/scoffed at by Dr. When my partner said "I read this online" unable to finish the sentence Dr interrupted saying "here we go again". If you want to pay to be humiliated and gaslighted go here and see this Hoshimoto.
