Brought my extremely anxious French bulldog in for a well visit and vaccine boosters. Ted was greeted by Dr. Flett and her assistant Nathan. Completely fear free care. Dr Flett got down at his level and made him feel completely comfortable prior to touching him. Nathan earned his trust with treats! We could not have been more pleased. If you have a frenchie or any dog that is anxious, make sure you ask for Dr. Flett. She truly cares for her patients!

DO NOT GO HERE!!!!!! Recently moved to the area and was considering this vet office today since I live nearby. Saw their newest yelp review and their response. INCREDIBLY CONCERNING when your “animal hospital” is responsible for someone’s pet dying! Posting to spread awareness for those on google, BE CAREFUL AND AVOID. VCA Woodbridge? More like ChatGPT Woodbridge….

VCA Woodbridge Animal Hospital has been our vet for almost 20 years - since we had an after-hours, end of life situation with our cat and they were so caring and compassionate. After multiple more pets, many visits, and many, many prescriptions, today I had the luck to meet Jennae from the pharmacy in person. I recognized her voice immediately since I've spoken with her so many times over the years, and she has always been extremely helpful! It was so much fun to put a face to the voice and get to thank her in person for all her help over the years. Jennae is the BEST!!! (As are all the folks at VCA Woodbridge - I drive from Fredericksburg because they are so great!)

Took my 3 year old dog here 2 weeks ago for their “urgent care” vet. He had vision problems over the prior 24 hours. All they did was test his vision, nothing additional. Vet told me he had SARDS, its incurable, i can go to an ophthalmologist if i want to confirm diagnosis but basically ‘good luck’ and sent me on my way. My dog was male, 3, and a larger breed. Which do not fit the characteristics of dogs who typically suffer from SARDS (senior, female and small breed). As this vet refused to do further testing, we operated based on the issue being vision and vision only. He saw an ophthalmologist for about 1 1/2 weeks and then was admitted to an animal hospital two nights ago. He died today under euthanasia as he was incredibly sick because his real diagnosis was Rocky Mountain spotted fever, which is contracted from ticks. We caught it too late and the infection spread throughout his whole body. I feel that this office is responsible for my dogs untimely death due to an incorrect diagnosis and a lack of effort to try. I will never recommend this place for as long as i live. Do better by your patients and their humans.
