  We have attempted to use this emergency vet three separate times and somehow each visit equals “How Long Can You Wait Before Losing Your Mind.” Each time, we were told we were first in line. A bold claim. An inspiring claim. A completely fictional claim……hours later, still sitting there with a sick pet and our sanity slowly evaporating, we would get one of the following plot twists: * “We just had a shift change.” * “We are pausing visits right now.” * Or my personal favorite: vague silence until you ask for the fifth time what is going on. Look, I understand emergencies happen. I understand delays. I even understand the occasional chaos of an emergency clinic. But this is not occasional this is their business model. The real issue is not just the wait—it is the complete lack of communication. You are left sitting there At no point does anyone proactively update you. You have to keep getting up, asking, and essentially conducting your own investigation By visit number three, it became clear: this is not bad luck. This is a system. If your pet is having a true emergency, this is not the place you want to gamble on. Because nothing says “critical care” like being told you are first in line… for two hours straight.

  Have been taking my dog since she was a 4 month puppy. Always such amazing customer care and support. All the vet and vet techs are so easy to talk to and answer any and all questions and concerns. Highly recommend!

  We’ve had mixed experiences at this animal hospital (we’ve been clients since 2025). While some staff members are kind and professional, our interactions with Dr. Andrea Paradise were disappointing. We received unclear and at times conflicting guidance regarding follow-up care after treatment, and felt that reasonable questions were dismissed. During visits, her communication style also left us felt abrupt and unwelcoming, which made the experience uncomfortable. We hope the clinic can improve communication, consistency in care, and the overall client experience.

  VCA refuses to send prescriptions via e-mail, making it impossible to work with online pharmacies. This forces you to use their (very expensive) pharmacy or deal with dropping off paper prescriptions. Indefensible, money-grubbing behavior that shows VCA cares more about extracting a tiny bit more profit than giving you a half-decent customer experience.
