  Alexis is a very kind employee ever and should be employee of the month, she was able to help me fix my phone when it was not able to charge well. If you need to get your phone fixed, Alexis will be happy to help you get it fixed.

  It is impossible to get in contact with anyone at this store location, which is kind of funny to me given now many employees are milling about in store at a given time. I called the provided number last Thursday to try to get an update on the status of a repair. However, it takes you to some central IT phone banking system. The rep who picked up tried 4x to reach the Short Pump store, but it kept ringing out. She told me to call the number back in an hour or so and someone could try again to reach this store location. So I try again in an hour - same issue, different rep cannot reach the store after multiple calls. They tell me that I can try myself by bypassing the AI and asking to speak to a “manager”. So I try and obviously it rings and rings and rings. In the end, I don’t get any update on the repair status of my item. Come the day I can finally stop by to pick up (I live an hour away), it’s raining and my husband kindly volunteers to run in for me to grab my laptop. He tells me the staff gave him a hard time since I “didn’t call ahead to designate an alternate pickup person”, which is crazy since nobody ever picks up their damn phone?? Finally, taking a week for a battery repair is crazy to me. I will try to avoid this Apple Store in the future and handle my repairs either locally or shipping my items out to Apple and back.

  Some Apple stores can be amazing, with helpful, highly qualified employees. This is not one of them.

  Demond is an Ace Employee and Friend! He could not have been more helpful and supportive in my time of need. Like many of us older people, I found myself in a bind with my new iPhone. Demond didn’t give up and I walked out of the store fully capable of ordering food and doom scrolling. Thanks again and give Demond a bonus, please.
