  I spend a lot of money here for my golden retriever. Which is fine. However, today’s experience just really ticked me off. My dog needed to get all updated vaccines today. His appointment was at 4 o’clock. I called at 3:55 and said “I’m so sorry, I’m running behind. My ETA is 4:10.” They said “let me check with the doctor- they said that’s fine.” So we got here at 4:10, I let my dog use the bathroom outside, then we walked in behind another patient. Lo and behold that was the appointment at 4:30. So the lady at the front desk told me they couldn’t see me anymore because the 4:30 appointment had already checked in…. SERIOUSLY?? I live 30 minutes away and if she would’ve just told me on the phone that they couldn’t see me if I was late, I could’ve just turned around and went home. I still would’ve been frustrated that I missed the appointment, but I wouldn’t have come all the way here thinking I still had my appointment after confirming on the phone it was okay I was running late. I find this customer service one of creating expectations, only for the customer to realize they are just wanting to sound polite. To be clear, my frustration isn’t about the fact *i* was running late, my frustration is about the woman on the phone who told me the doctor said it would be okay, only to get here and realize I’ve been booted because the next appointment showed up 15/20 minutes early. That’s what pissed me off so much.

  I had a such great experience during a sad time, I just lost my bearded dragon, the lady who walked me through every step to make things easier was the sweetest and I greatly appreciate her, her name is Alisha, the lady who helped take care of Rex was great as well her name is Savannah she was absolutely the best during my visit, also the lady who checked us out was a great help too her name was Sarah, would definitely recommend for any of their services they are great people!!!!!

  So glad we found VCA Boonsboro Animal Hospital. They are efficient and the communication exceptional.

  The little keepsake they gave us of our deceased dog was genuinely beautiful and extremely nice (a little clay paw print, etc.), and they have given all my other pets great care continuously over the last few years. Even though they’re a corporate chain, they are great people and actually care about animals. Can’t recommend them enough ❤️ shout out Eryn W she’s the best, awesome with animals, and great (in boarding)
