took my bike in for 2 new tires and they didn't tighten the rear tire axle on. took bike for a ride when i got home and the rear tire was wobbling. could have been dangerous. plus the rear brake now rubs against the tire. not happy

Trek bicycle is the best place to get a good quality bicycle, the selections are great and the prices are fair, I have visited several times to purchase and service my road and hybrid bicycles and always had a good experience, today we purchase bicycles for our nice and nephew, We were assisted by Robin who was great , very friendly engaged with the kids to understand what they like, made great suggestions and showed them all the accessories they could need/ have to go with the bikes. I have 2 happy kids with good quality bikes that will last them at least 2-3 years. Trek offers the buy back program for kids were you can bring the bike and get a discount of half of what was originally paid for to be used on a new bicycle. It is a win win situation. The prices are fair if you are willing to pay for quality, yes you can buy a cheaper bicycle at walmart or target that will rust out after 1 rain even, this works for kids that are learning, but once they already learn they will need a good reliable bicycle that will last, trek provides the right bicycle for a good price and the quality is something that is priceless.

I originally went here to get a bike for my son. The manager, Robin, was incredibly nice and helpful. Even though we didn’t get a bike I knew I’d come back if I wanted a bike. Went back last weekend and Carl helped me get a Marlin 5. He was awesome and suggested trails for me and my son to ride. This bike shop is a gem.

Immediate Attention Required – Customer Treatment at Fairfax Location - Immediate Attention Required – Customer Treatment at Fairfax Location I’m reaching out to bring a serious issue to your attention regarding your Fairfax location. I recently visited the store at the start of the spring season—typically a great time for cycling and community engagement. My intent was simple: get air in my bike tires. My initial interaction with a staff member was excellent—welcoming, helpful, and exactly what you’d expect from a community-focused business. That experience changed completely when your service manager became involved. The interaction quickly escalated into behavior that was demeaning, hostile, and completely unprofessional. I was spoken to in a way that was both disrespectful and humiliating—something I can honestly say I have never experienced in my 64 years. More concerning, I was told I was not welcome in the store. Let me be direct: that is not a customer service issue—that is a leadership issue. This individual represents your brand in the local community, and based on this interaction, does so in the worst possible way. Behavior like this doesn’t just impact one customer—it erodes trust, damages your reputation, and pushes business away from what should be a community anchor. I also want to highlight the contrast: your frontline employee created a positive, welcoming experience. That tells me the culture at the ground level has potential—but it is being undermined by management behavior that is completely out of alignment. I am asking for two things: A review of this incident and the conduct of the service manager Clear confirmation of how you intend to address this moving forward I would strongly encourage you to take this seriously. Experiences like this don’t stay isolated—they get shared, and they influence where people choose to spend their money. I look forward to your response. —Mark E
