  I went here about 7 months ago for my cat Chloe. She had a UTI. I cannot remember the Dr's name but both him and his assistant made me feel soo comfortable and they did the urinalysis and sent me home with meds and my cat cleared her infection. I was so grateful they were able to see me on such a short notice too because she had gotten to the point where almost no pee was coming out when she would go to her litter box. She might have another UTI so I hope this appointment is as great as my last one! I have high expectations because of my previous visit. Fingers crossed.

  We came here with my cat about 4 years ago, she was very old and was suffering from kidney disease. I was thinking about our experience recently with her care towards the end of her life and we could not have brought her to a better place. The empathy we felt from the staff during her euthanasia is touching. Our veterinarian’s words stuck with me when he was explaining what this experience is like for our beloved furry friends and it was very comforting even though we were emotional wrecks. The lady who took us back for our euthanasia actually ended up shedding a few tears with us explaining some of the process to us. I cannot express how grateful I am to have received such empathy from complete strangers. My cat turned into the devil himself at the vet and they still treated her with the most kindness and understanding. I just want the staff to know how thankful I am for that experience, many probably feel that way but don’t always get to say thank you. I appreciate the people in this selfless profession from the bottom of my heart <3

  Great Vet with a fantastic bedside manner. Gentle with your pets. Was quick, knowledgeable and friendly.

  I brought my dog in for an ear infection expecting that he would at least receive treatment to make him more comfortable. Instead, I was told by Schmitz that unless I agreed to pay for additional lab work, they couldn’t provide the treatment that had worked for him previously. The veterinarian said they weren’t comfortable treating him the same way without the tests. What was most frustrating is that I was still charged for the consultation and prescribed medication, while being told the medication would probably not work. It felt like I was paying for treatment they didn’t have confidence in, while my dog was left uncomfortable. I understand that diagnostics can be important, but there should also be compassion and reasonable options discussed. I left feeling like the focus was on collecting payment rather than helping my dog.

  They are alway so nice, answer all my questions and take care of my doggos ❤️ they are a great Vet clinic!!!
