  All my fur babies come here. Friendly staff, seem to really care about your pets. Prices are about what you expect. Even stepped in to help us with a stray we had found. They helped us to find overnight care as we couldn't house him.

  They were great with our dog, but their prices are extremely high. If cost didn't matter, I would give them 5 stars.

  I moved into the area last year and have been here a few times for two of my dogs. One is older and has bad anxiety, can be reactive especially when touched a certain way or when someone quickly moves in her face. I took her as a new patient here and told the Vet those concerns as he was wanting to check her out. I felt like the visit was too quick, rushed even before that. Especially when he gave up on her after she nipped & pushed at the stethoscope that he quickly moved towards her face - after I warned him. He immediately got up and said “nope I’m done” , then the techs took over in the back. She was only gone a few mins and not much was explained other than the bill. I sat in the exam room, having no idea if it was all done or if we were gonna talk more. I had to ask the receptionist and she also had to grab the free parasite pill, as I didn’t really get the chance to mention that I was also there for that / any other concerns. Yet when I come here with our other dog, who is legally owned by my partner & his sister - sometimes that same Vet is thorough and sometimes not. The Vets here respond and treat the dogs here differently. So far, the youngest does okay here as it’s only occasional and we prefer the other Vet anyways. But my oldest pup? I think I’ll take her to her usual Vet up North where they’re more thorough and patient. Where she is more comfortable.

  Never bring your pets here! I found out TODAY from a new veterinarian that VCA had diagnoses my dog with Kidney Disease TWO YEARS AGO, but not a single Vet or Vet Tech told us in any visit we had with them. We took him there due to bladder issues and the vet told us he had "kidney issues" and how to modify his diet (which admittedly worked!) Took him in for a follow-up to check his kidney function and was told "his kidneys are fine". That was the last we heard of his kidneys. Took him to a new vet today due to not eating and they were able to get an appointment sooner for us. The vet there went over his records from VCA and showed where he'd been diagnosed two years ago with Kidney Disease which was at Stage 2 at the time. He's now at Stage 4. If I'd know it was Kidney Disease, I would have gotten him in much sooner and kept a better eye on his diet. It's absolutely unacceptable I had to find out from a completely different vet office what VCA diagnosed my pet with. I hate to think what they would have told me about him if I'd brought him in today. It also makes me look back on previous visits with other pets and wonder if they really took as good of care of them as I thought they did. Maybe other locations are better, but you're better off skipping VCA all together. Who knows how many other animals have been mishandled over the years due to their negligence.
