I would not recommend getting your phone repaired here.
In May, I brought in two Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultras to have their cracked screens replaced. I paid $720 for the repairs. Unfortunately, the problems started almost immediately.
After picking up my phone, I went directly on a trip out of town. When I arrived at my Airbnb, I discovered that the phone would not connect to Wi-Fi or Bluetooth. I also noticed that the front camera was extremely blurry. I contacted a ZAGG store in SLC and they recommended I go to the same store I got repairs done at. I explained what was happening, including my concern that the camera may not have been properly cleaned before the new screen was installed. I was told to bring the phone back in.
Initially, I was told that the issue was not related to their repair. However, I continued bringing the phone back because it was essentially unusable for anything beyond basic texting. After working on it for more than two weeks, they eventually determined that part of the internal hardware responsible for Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connectivity had been damaged during the original.
The store then offered me a replacement phone instead. The problem was that the phone they gave me was an AT&T device, while the phone I originally brought them was unlocked. I intended to give the second phine I took to get fixed to my son so he could use it to contact me when he visits his father. When we tried to put our carrier's SIM card into it, we discovered that it would not work with our provider, calls don't go through I missed a lot of important calls because of this.
I repeatedly contacted the store about this. I was either unable to get a response or was told that management was unavailable. Throughout August, I called repeatedly asking to speak with a manager and was told she was on vacation and would contact me when she returned. I also attempted to contact corporate and never received a response.
At no point was I offered a refund, an unlocked replacement comparable to the phone I originally brought in, or a satisfactory resolution. I ultimately had to purchase another phone because the replacement they provided could not be used with my carrier.
Unfortunately, the other Samsung S23 Ultra I had repaired at the same time also had an issue. The back was improperly glued and is partially coming open. It can stay in place with a case on it, but after the experience with the first phone, I did not want to go through the hassle of repeatedly returning to the store for another repair.
I spent nearly $400 expecting two professional screen repairs. Instead, I ended up with one phone that had internal hardware damage and an incompatible replacement, and another phone that was improperly reassembled.
The biggest issue for me isn't that something went wrong during a repair mistakes can happen. It's how difficult it was to get the issue acknowledged and resolved afterward.(despite nothing really being resolved) The lack of communication, repeated difficulty reaching management, and lack of a reasonable resolution left me extremely frustrated.
Based on my experience, I would not have my phone repaired here again, and I cannot recommend this store.
