If you're not already a client here, you need to be. The techs are so sweet, and Heidi is so very kind and patient with anxious doggies. I very much appreciated it and will not be taking my babies anywhere else.

Let me preference this with three things (1, we have been taking our dog to this practice since she was 8 weeks old, she is now 10 years old and 2, we have always seen Dr. Vogtsberger and 3, this is long) This morning my daughter and I brought our dog in for her annual exam(appointment was for 9:40, we were checked in by 9:30). After waiting in the room until 9:50 the vet tech took our dog to the back to get a blood drawl for her heartworm test. More then 10 minutes go by and the vet comes in(without our dog)the first thing out of her mouth was "so, your dog has gained a little weight" not hello, or good morning or glad to see you again! Uhm ok. Then the vet tech brings back our dog and hands her to me(where I proceeded to hold my dog the entire time. I mentioned a concern I had to the vet, she prescribed some medication and then left. In walks a different vet tech we have never seen before, gives me the meds and then wants to collect my payment, I was shocked, I thought our dog was going to get a vaccination and an exam. Dr. Vogtsberger never even mentioned that apparently they gave her a vaccine in the back and I don't even know if she got a physical exam by the vet(not that I could see) Dr. Vogtsberger never mentioned how her heart sounded or if she saw any concerns except she had gained 4 ounces. I seriously doubt the vet even examined her "in the back" if she did she didn't tell us. I returned later to purchase flea preventative and expressed my concerns to the women at the front desk(who checked us in before 9:30 the same morning) I told her in the 10 years we had been coming to Callfield Companion Animal Clinic and seeing Dr. Vogtsberger I had never had an appointment like this and she suggested it was either because we were late to our appointment(WRONG) or our dog was misbehaving when she got her blood drawn(WHAT) she never has before! Long story $415.42 I am not even sure my dog got her $86.65 "exam" if she did we didn't see it. So disappointed.

We have had the most amazing experience here! They care about not only getting our fur babies taking care of. But, they care about keeping them comfortable while doing so. They put spray cheese on the wall for our pups to enjoy/ distract them while getting their vaccinations. One of our dogs is the biggest diva and he didn’t even flinch and he had to get several vaccines. The entire staff had to give both dogs love before we left. So sweet. Some of them didn’t even wait on us but still wanted to give love to them. 100 out of 10 recommend!

Already spent over $500 for a sick cat in the last two weeks or so with no luck ! So let’s spend more for blood test and more for meds , I’m not trying to be harsh or hateful, really how much is enough or to much ?and all they want to do is push that monthly fee .you’ll get this this and this and then we’ll make your animals feel better .. if you pay $60 a month for the next 12 months you can get spayed or neutered for cheap but if not it’s $400 . Only vet in town that charges that trying to get you to purchase that plan . Now back to the sick cat now they did squeeze my animal in without an appointment. Anyone can appreciate that. Brought him home. He was fine for about four hours and we’re right back to where we were when I took him up there, of course you can’t talk to anybody on weekends unless you wanna pay $450 for an emergency call and honestly, I feel The same way about a couple of other veterinarians in this town a human can go see a doctor for way less than what these people charge
