look somewhere else my cat was misdiagnosed here he wasn't eating he was trying to pee and poop but nothing they charged a total of 281.49 just to see if he had crystals it was a urine test they put a needle 💉 and get urine which can cause blood in the urine because of the needle they changed me for meds that according to the other vet hospital of mission vet I took him to made his inside inflamed more. VCA oak hills hospital wanted me to wait a whole week for the test results. I'm glad I asked for a second opinion he could have died thank you God I listen to my gut and got a second opinion. I went to (Mission Vet specialty emergency hospital) if you have to pay for something once get an x-ray and blood work those two things alone will show mainly everything you need to know of what's going on with your pet. my cat was backed up so much so that he could have died now the people at VCA oak hills checked if he had stool they said he wasn't backed up and that his stomach was soft. can you imagine that if I would have listened he would have been dead. his urinary tract is healthy thank God because at Mission vet hospital they checked it. he had to go through NR tube and three Enema in order to save him and be overnight at the Mission Vet hospital. after a week passed by I got the urine test results from VCA oak hills saying he has fine from his kidneys. I went through hell especially my cat he could have died he was so distressed and scared after everything he went through. I pray in Jesus Christ name that if your pet is going through something difficult may the Lord give you wisdom and calmness to know what to do. at Mission Vet I could pay over time with Affirm and I have trupanion insurance trupanion is in network and pays directly to Mission Vet specialty emergency hospital. you may not get free snacks from other vet hospitals but you'll get better service elsewhere. listen to your God given gut. if you got a new pet please do research on which vet hospital especially emergency vet for 24 which one except your form of pay it will give you peace of mind just so you won't be panicking and lose your cat or dog because you couldn't pay and get pet insurance you'll be complaining about the price going up but if something does happen you'll be glad you have pet insurance the downside is you have to pay out-of-pocket even with insurance and they have to reimburse you. I'm not a commercial ad for trupanion insurance but because they paid Mission Vet directly it saved me so much money and all I have is a debit card and Affirm app help me to pay for the rest through payments. so if you do choose a hospital please look for payment options that way you have peace of mind even with a tight budget you can save your pet. I also believe in the power of prayer all glory goes to the LORD

My elderly boy was getting so old, and they did all they could to help him. And ultimately they helped me say goodbye with as much grace as possible. I appreciate they treated my Arnie like my family and not a dog I owned. Thank you to all your staff for your care and compassion during this impossible time.

First time there. Will definitely return. Our tech Angel was absolutely amazing. Made us feel very comfortable, she explained everything before hand. She is definitely an angel. The Dr so very nice and so good with my cat Jordy. Highly recommend this vet office. Keep up the great work Angel!

I had made a mistake with my appointment date. I had showed up one week early. The staff were very gracious and accommodating, I don't think I waited 10 minutes, I had a wellness check on my puppy, again staff very attentive to my pup. The vet was great. Asked me repeatedly if I had any questions for further questions or concerns. I would highly recommend this location.

I’ve been a veterinary technician for 10 years and never have I had such an issue with vet care. I have usually taken care of my dog through my own work places and I’m in a situation where I’m in a different state and cannot provide that anymore and my 11yo dog is now diagnosised with cancer and I was wanting to get chest X-rays to see if that had spread. I guess I’m unable to do that without spending 1000 dollars for a hospital stay and sedation with those x rays which is completely unnessessary. Every place I’ve worked in the past 10 years, sedation is something offered AFTER being unable to preform them due to pain or aggression. My dog is not aggressive and has never shown aggression nor does it take 8+ hours to complete 3 view chest rads (if you know what your doing those pictures should take less than 10 mins). I know they have policies and procedures but with how the first visit went I do not trust them to suck all the money my dad has. During the first visit they did a cytology of my dogs mass and the doctor couldn’t even read it and I know he’s not a specialist but instead of offering for the cytology to be sent out because he was worried. He instead said it was not diagnostic and recommended to go straight to surgery (on a 11yo dog with no priliminary labs). We do not even know what the mass is and they want to put a senior dog under anesthesia. Are you kidding ?!?! I had my dad send me the slides to my clinic and had my dr read them and was no question she was worried about sarcoma. Next steps are X-rays to make sure things have not spread. Imagine if they just did the surgery without having this information ? And after asking for pain meds for her before the weekend (which we never got) because she was starting to show discomfort and asking for an estimate. I was hit with a 1000 quote for just the X-rays. This is ridiculous considering you have to pay upfront. And the surgery estimate I asked for included a dental cleaning which I never asked for and the other estimate was just a dental cleaning no mass removal. Seriously a money hungry company. Every time I asked for a simple thing I was quoted all unnessessary stuff. I thought I be spared the spiel of all that being in the field but nope. I feel terrible for people who are not in the industry and have no idea what they’re paying for. This may be a vca thing because i contacted another hospital and it was the same deal pretty much. So saddened by this. Every place I’ve every worked I was always real and truthful with owners on what they need to pay for and what we can skip on or come back too cause I know this industry can be expensive and also confusing because you don’t want to do the wrong thing for your pet. Totally disappointed.
