  *********EDIT TO ADD********** Thank you to Dan the manager who reached out to me to help me figure out why Penny was acting this way. Come to find out, she was still dealing with some discomfort. Pain meds are on board and she is much better. ******************************************* I was referred to Becker animal hospital by VCA urgent care off 151. My senior dog had an obstruction, and needed to be hospitalized to receive IV fluids. Upon arrival, a male at the front desk was on the phone with someone and quite argumentative with them over a bill. Which I thought was inappropriate. The waiting period is one reason I gave the 3 star rating. They said they had spoke to the Dr at urgent care and had all the necessary information and x-rays from them, yet we still had to wait a few hours. The one thing that has me concerned though, is the flinching my dog does now that she’s home. Every time I lean down to pick her up, she throws herself to the floor and trembles or she will flinch and run away. She has never done this before and in my opinion, shows signs of abuse. We spent thousands of dollars for her care, and now she’s not the same pup I dropped off. No animal should ever be treated this way after an already traumatic event. We take our pets to these facilities in hopes they will be treated will love and care.

  During Our Trip, We had 7 Cats. We Were Promptly And Kindly Checked in by Chris at the Front Desk. Vanessa, one of the Animal Technicians, grabbed our Information in a kind, Precise, and Efficient manner. In Addition, we were seen by Dr. Robert Gutierrez. His Knowledge in his Expertise, combined with his Generosity in Customer Service is Exactly why I am planning on leaving more reviews Everytime I come here. Thank yall very much! Couldn't do it without yall.!🤙🏾💪🏾🖤😇

  Long time patron of this clinic. Something has changed. Brought my dog in at 2:30 in the morning with vomiting and lethargy and never saw a doctor and was left in a room for over 2025 minutes with no attention. Saw a physicians assistant that took my dog's temperature and then came back with a recommended list of tests to run proclaiming that my dog was stable even though she never even listened to her heart or her stomach and addressed any of my concerns or complaints. My doctor could have died in that little room. I'm going to go to another clinic and even if I have to drive across town and pay more money than this sink cold.

  Love Becker Animal Hospital! I took my poor sick cat to Becker and they checked her out and explained to me what they thought was going on with her and explained the treatment she needed. It has been a wonderful experience so far and they are taking great care of her! They are keeping me informed of her progress and I couldn’t thank them enough! Update: Unfortunately nothing else could be done for my precious cat Purrl. The staff at Becker were very kind and when I walked in the were all very consoling also. This was one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. I got to spend some time with Purrl with no one rushing me. They also helped with information on cremation services which was helpful too. Anyway, I can’t give enough compliments about Becker and all their staff. Thank you soooo much! Here is my Purrl❤️

  Amazing doctors. I have seen multiple doctors at VCA and all have been great…the first time I brought my boy in, it was an emergency for cluster seizures. He stayed overnight but they texted me every couple of hours as well as sent pictures to keep me updated. I have been taking him there ever since. My first experience there was with Dr. Andrade, she was great. Dr. Gutierrez and Dr. Mapel were great as well. I dealt with Dr. Arrington tonight and I feel that he has gone above and beyond what most vets would do these days! I appreciate his honesty and transparency and even following up with me after I left to let me know that he went over some things and decided to change dosages for my boy. Thank you all staff, techs and doctors that have dealt with me and my boy. Seizures aren’t easy but VCA has definitely made this journey a bit better knowing that they genuinely care about your pets and concerns as pet parents.
