  I took booked next available appointment online for an office visit within 48 hours. Prior to arrival, i received a text with a link to input my dog's medical history and reasons for today's visit. Upon arrival, the front desk staff was very friendly and helpful in answering my questions as a first-time client. However, that is where the professional courtesies ended. I was taken to room with my dog and told Ray would be the tech assisting Dr. Fischer for today's visit. My dog and i were left unattended for over 40 minutes and after 3 minutes of a physical inspection of my senior pup, they were recommending over $1000 of future care (dental cleaning), not even addressing the problems that brought us to their clinic that day. To make matters worse, they said they would be back shortly with some pain medication for my dog, and instead left us unattended for another 40 minutes. Running out of patience and having my dog whimper in pain, I stepped out and asked the front desk lady where the tech and vet had gone because i was still waiting for my dog to be treated. She told me to go wait in my room as she paged the tech to return. The tech then came in and said he was barely working on my dog's plan of care and would need more time. At this point, it has been over 90 minutes since my appointment was scheduled. Since no actual medical care had been provided (i had to weight my own dog and put a muzzle on him for them), i left the facilities, as the front desk lady suggested, and I will not be returning. This was a complete waste of my time and i warn others to find an alternative provider for attentive care for our furry friends.

  Terrible experience took my dog for stomach pain , i got there at 9pm they told me i’d be 2 hour wait , doctor didn’t see me in the room until 1:30am and then i didn’t leave until 3:30 am. They told me my dog would need X-rays and all this problems with my dog spine? I didn’t trust it, so i paid the 131 exam fee . And i asked why so much they told me visits after 8pm are emergency visit . But i didn’t get emergency treatment !! I waited 5 HOURS does that sound like an emergency to you? I’d say if you can wait till the day and take your pet to another Vet that is closer to you and better priced do it. I did and i paid half the price and the vet i went to gave me a Whole Different treatment plan no X-ray needed and unnecessary add-ons. They wanted to charge me 1422.00. And 238 dollars for a radiologist interpretation ? So 238 for 2 hours for some guy to read an X-ray ? The doctor can’t do that ? 125 for electrolytes ? There’s Gatorade at the store for 3 dollars lol . I knew they were a little pricey but damn inflation i guess. Pretty much what I’m saying is expect to pay double here than you would anywhere else if you come here. Someone needs to pay for their lights and fancy coffee machine.

  I don’t typically leave reviews but I absolutely had to for VCA Becker. When my dog was attacked by another dog late last night VCA took such great care of us during this incredibly frightening time.. From the moment we arrived, the staff treated us with kindness, compassion, and urgency. They took excellent care of my dog, kept me informed throughout the process, and made sure she received the treatment needed with detailed different treatment options to choose from. They didn’t rush us out the door.. Doctor Arrington spent time with my baby. Thank you doc! & shout out to Joshua and the rest of the team for being so kind. I could tell they ALL genuinely care about the work they do and that meant so much to me. I’m incredibly grateful. Thank you for helping my baby through such a traumatic situation. Thank you thank you thank you❤️🐾

  I go in to take my pet and was told to go home to wait for a call for an opening 3 hours later I call and was told it would be another 2 hours because they had emergencies. At what point does anyone want to use a Vet that has that type of care. The worst part is when I walked I there was 1 yes 1 person in the in the lobby and was already being tended too. Now I remember why I stopped going there and thought I would give them an another chance. My advice to anyone who reads this go somewhere else unless it’s a serious emergency.

  We boarded our fur baby, Kara, here while on vacation. This was actually a very last minute booking and the Director Ronee was a tremendous help! This was also our first time boarding Kara as she was a stray we recently rescued. We originally planned to have our Kara stay at PetSuites (it was somewhere a family member recommended) but Kara had to get an unexpected surgical procedure a few days before our trip that required her to have stitches and PetSuites was no longer able to take her in because of that. That was very understandable but also put me in panic mode trying to figure out where to take Kara with such short notice. Then we found VCA Becker Pet Resort and I spoke with Ronee and it was smooth sailing from there. She made the whole process so easy! She was able to take Kara in for boarding and they also were able to have her monitored through the night to ensure she did not mess with her stitches. And when our vet called saying she needed an additional medication, because VCA Becker has a pharmacy on site, they were able to send her prescription there and begin her treatment while there! I also made them aware that this was her first time being boarded as well as well as the fact that she is rescue so we were unsure of Kara’s triggers or temperament around strangers. They were more than okay working with Kara with all of these hurdles. They also walked Kara daily and shared photos! It was such a breeze and a pleasure to board with VCA Becker and and I will continue to bring Kara back here. A huge thank you to Ronee and the amazing techs for making this as smooth as possible!
