  I love this team. We rescued an extremely skittish husky and they have always been so gracious and caring to us. They make me feel confident in the care he is receiving and I recommend this place to all my friends

  I am beyond disappointed with the service I received at VCA Saginaw Animal Hospital during my recent visit with my dog, Bailey. First, I do want to say that the front desk staff was wonderful. They were friendly, welcoming, and professional. Unfortunately, the experience completely changed once we got to the back. We've been bringing our pets here for around 10 years and have trusted this clinic with 4–5 of our animals over the years. After this experience, we will never be back. The vet tech (I don't know her name, but she was a Hispanic woman with a gothic style) was incredibly rude and had an attitude from the start. Every time I asked a question, she gave short, dismissive answers and acted like I was bothering her. As a pet owner, I should be able to ask questions without feeling like I'm an inconvenience. Then Dr. Tiffini Imken came in after Bailey was taken to the back for her shots. She didn't explain anything that was done, didn't go over Bailey's care, and didn't even ask if I had any questions. She said she'd be right back, but instead she sent the tech in with the paperwork and never came back. That was the end of the visit. The entire appointment felt rushed and impersonal, and I left feeling like nobody cared about me or my dog. After being loyal customers for so many years, I expected so much better. This visit made it seem like getting people in and out as fast as possible was more important than actually caring for the pets or taking the time to communicate with their owners. We have spent thousands of dollars at this clinic over the years because we believed our pets were in good hands. After the way we were treated, we will not be returning, and I won't be recommending this clinic to anyone. I hope management takes this seriously because this is not how loyal, long-time clients should be treated. The lack of professionalism, communication, and basic customer service was shocking.

  This was my first experience with VCA of Saginaw, (well any VCA pet Clinic) if they are representative of the franchise they are doing a great job. The staff was friendly and professional. They got me in quickly(I did have an appointment) But, they were also taking walking in and working them in where they could. They evaluated my 2 girl dogs and gave them a clean bill of health, their shots and prescribed flea and tick treatment. They also discussed treatment plans and told me about their own pet insurance policy that seemed pretty reasonable. Thank you VCA for the courteous service we will be back.
