  $120 for heartworm TEST!! Elsewhere for routine test $20…No thanks, highway robbery, walked out also they don’t even have heart guard

  My wife took our old dog, Coco, to get a dental checkup and a general health exam. The Vet informed her that Coco would need dental work, and advised her (us) to purchase the senior dog plan for $182 a month. According to the VCA staff, "This would cover everything." I took Coco in today (08/18/26) to get the procedure done. When I arrived I was informed that the plan doesn't include extractions. They told me that they informed my wife of this additional cost. My wife unequivocally told me that they lied! They never told her about the additional cost. I canceled the plan after initially paying $182. They told us that it would still cost us over $750! This is a classic bait and switch operation. I have been submitting reviews on Google Maps for years, and everyone who knows me also knows that I am an honorable man. I value the truth, and the truth ain't in these people (Crooks). DO NOT GIVE MERIT TO THEIR REPLY and, more importantly, DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR HARD EARNED MONEY! I am sickened by the existence of Crooks like this! Let me also add that VCA is a massive corporate network with high overhead costs, advanced in-house diagnostic equipment, and profit-driven pricing models.

  I called this clinic because I needed a certificate for my dog to travel. Since English is not my first language, I explained what I needed, and they told me they could provide a health certificate. I trusted their guidance, paid for the appointment, and later found out that the document they gave me did not meet the travel requirements. I went back to the clinic and explained exactly what was needed. All they had to do was include my dog’s vaccination information and the veterinarian’s license number on the certificate. Instead, after charging me $150, they refused to do it and insisted the information had to be on separate pages. Tricia, who I believe is the manager, was very rude and unprofessional throughout the entire interaction. I ended up going to another veterinary clinic, and they fixed the issue in just a few minutes without any problems. I completely wasted my money at this clinic. I do not recommend this place because of their poor customer service, lack of willingness to help, and unprofessional attitude.

  Well they fill the prescription before they even tell you home much it's gonna cost you no wonder the exam was free
