My experience with this clinic was extremely disappointing. The only positive aspect was Dr. Goble, who clearly cares deeply about the animals and treats them with compassion.
Unfortunately, my interactions with the front desk staff were the complete opposite. On two separate occasions, I called in a panic because my senior dog was experiencing a medical emergency. Instead of receiving empathy or assistance, I was laughed at by Lennon, hung up on by Lennon and Destiny, and even asked by Destiny if I wanted to "take it to the parking lot to sort it out." Those interactions were shocking and completely unacceptable, especially from employees who are often the first point of contact for worried pet owners.
When people call a veterinary clinic during an emergency, they are scared, emotional, and looking for guidance. Compassion, professionalism, and basic customer service should be the minimum expectation. Instead, I was met with hostility and disrespect, which only added to an already stressful situation.
Dr. Goble deserves recognition for the care shown to the animals, but she allowed the behavior of the reception staff which overshadowed my entire experience. I sincerely hope the clinic addresses these issues because no pet owner should be treated this way when seeking help for a beloved family member.

Dr. Brown is without a doubt the most patient and kind vet we have ever had for our pups. We have a very large dog who gets extremely anxious with vet visits. Dr. Brown is extremely patient and always is willing to work with us to help make our pup comfortable during his vaccinations. Her assistant Leslie was fantastic as well! She helped us get the proper vaccines and was knowledgeable about our pups vaccine status and was super sweet to him. Bonus point for all the treats and spoiling they did to our little hank! Truly if you need a vet pick Dr. Brown. We have been with her 3 years now and will continue to see her!!

They were so kind and sincere with us as we had to say goodbye to our baby girl. We couldn't have asked for a better place to go. They are very patient, dont push you into anything you dont want, very kind and patient with us as we had to make the ultimate sacrifice of letting our dog go to rainbow bridge. They let you tell them what you want and need. Thank you Dr. Brown for understanding and being patient with us all day until we made our decision.

Extremely disappointed at their front office service.
This is not my first time giving this VCA of Pasadena a chance to provide my dogs some health care and twice I regret it.
It takes at least 30 minutes to get you checked in and seen by a doctor. One time I waited for over 25 minutes and I was never checked in.
I girl, poor kid, was all alone at the front desk attending to a full lobby. Many other people employees would come out and not even provide assistance to their own staff members. This day I had to leave, without seeing the doctor, as I already had a previous engagement and I new I was not make my appointment.
My following visit, I again waited for 40 minutes to be seen by the doctor. Another person who got there after me and her appointment was 40 minutes after mine, was seen 30 minutes before I was.
The front desk simply does not listen to what you're saying.
In trying to get a message to my dog's doctor, I called at 10 AM and ask them to deliver a message to the doctor. By 2:30 PM, I called back and they told me that she indeed leave a message. Unfortunately that was never delivered to me.
I asked why was the message not posted to my account and they told me it was an internal message. So, I asked them how is the patient supposed to receive the message.
I left another specific question for the doctor and never got a message or text back from them. Called again today, 06/02/2026 at 12:16 PM, asking for any feedback on my messages and the girl in the front repeated the same messages from yesterday morning.
I finally said that I was no longer expecting a called back from the doctor by just wanted some information on a medication... She when one to say that I was not the only person with a pet that needed assistance and when the doctor had some time when would contact me. She said I should wait as there were people in the lobby too.
I had already given up on a call back from the doctor or even to receive a text from her. All I wanted was some information about a medication which I know it can be done in less than 5 minutes... Even if would had taken all day to deliver and receive a response, it would have been fine with me. But the fact that they just wont deliver the message and called me back, follow up, on it, to me this is extremely unprofessional, to say the least.
I wish you all good luck at this VCA hospital.. You will surely need it.
UPDATE: 06/04/2026 - My dog passed away that same very day, 06/02. I Had to take him to another hospital that afternoon because I could NOT trust this hospital anymore.
His situation got critical within the last 1.5 hours after I had called (my third one) the office and had to quickly take him somewhere else as I no longer trusted VCA of Pasadena.
I had the same bad service three years back and dearly regret giving you guys a second chance.
