I just had an appointment there. They are fantastic! I loved the concern, attention and care they provided my 7 yr old chihuahua. I was nervous because my chihuahua is a lil aggressive but they did an awesome job!! Very much recommend it! Thanks Pancho Villa (my dog)

They were so kind and my visit was free! We had to pay for a vaccine, but the prevention and visit was completely free other than that. Highly recommend.

The front ladies and Dr. Fox are great. But Dr. Jacqueline Burrel is the worst Dr we have ever encountered. We have a pitbull we we rescued from Pasadena shelter. We immediately got him a vet to get him checked out. She mentioned our dog was reactive and she threatened us by saying that our dog ever bit any staff, it would have to get reported and the dog would be sent back to the shelter. The Dr's face expression also showed fear of the dog. She should not be working in an animal hospital if she is scared of dogs!. Compared to Dr. Fox, Dr. Fox first time she met our dog, she immediately got down to our dogs level to pet him and check him out. Dr. Fox made us feel very comfortable. Maybe Dr. Fox needs to train Dr. Jacqueline Burrel. Also, the medications quantities given to our dog were very strange. It seemed like a lot. Due to our dog being reactive per Dr. Jacqueline, we needed to drug him heavily before taking him to the vet for our dog to be calmed. We got him out of VCA and the new vet mentioned that they take extra precautions to prevent these situations and that they would never call the pound on a dog for that reason. DR. Jacqueline is a joke and anyone taking their babies to her need to becareful. I bet she wouldn't like being told if her children hit a staff in the doctors office that her children could end up somewhere else. Every time we dropped our dog off at this place, we were always very worried that our dog could end up in the pound per what Dr. Jacqueline told us. We pay a lot of money for our babies to be taken care of here for us to be worried our dog can end up in the pound. She also mentioned this is their policy. We also decided to board our dog at VCA. My wife cooked for our dogs whole stay and provided instructions and times when our dog eats. When we picked him up, they handed us the whole bag of food we provided back. They never fed our dog the food we provided. They fed him their our own kibble. The handed our dog back full of poop and his doggy bed was also full of poop. We can tell our dog was not very well taken care of. When we picked him up, my wife asked the technician that brought our dog out along with the bag of food we provided; why they dint they feed him his food? Her reply was, I did not take care of him. That was not the question we asked, she could had said let me find out please hold. This place needs a lot of improvement. I would never take any of our animals back to this place. Unless Dr. Fox leaves to another pet hospital, then we will follow her.
