I traveled from outside of Lubbock to hopefully get a proper estimate and diagnostic on my iPhone that has slight water damage. The website states they are open to all repairs *including* water damage issues, even despite a customer not having Apple Care warranty. My phone is not “extensively damaged” either, as it still has all of its functions.
When explaining the reboot loop my phone was stuck in, the associate had no clue how to go on about the issue, so he thankfully went to go ask for us. Thereafter, we were told that there are no solutions and I have to buy a replacement. The associate never took a look at my phone, as it was in my hands the entire time.
False advertising wasted my time, as well as the terrible design choice for this company to use “artificial intelligence” in charge of the customer service hotline.
I also question why this specific young man at the Geek Squad counter was allowed AirPods whilst interacting with customers. Very unprofessional environment and hospitality.
I will be seeking out professional Apple stores from now on! 🤗❤️

Alejandro was awesome, so helpful and knowledgeable but also low pressure. He showed me every single feature and color I asked about which was probably annoying but he did it without making me feel like a burden. I wasn’t ready to buy a laptop today but when I am (soon!) I will absolutely come back to purchase one from him!
