  Came in earlier as I had accidentally uninstalled all of my GPU drivers. The plan was to install the new one then delete the old one so it’ll only be running on the new one, but I screwed up and my computer was turning on, but it was not pushing anything to my monitors. Which sucks. I came in just to ask if there is any way they could just show me how to download that new file that I had on a USB drive that was the new driver. And they didn’t tell me it would be about a week which I completely understand. But then I asked if I could just ask a question to one of the technicians just to say, “my displays aren’t working until I install this new driver. And I have it on this USB. How can I install it onto my computer if I’m not able to see the screens using just Shortcuts?“ And the guy who was working was a younger blonde fellow and he kind of said “well we can’t tell you because we are the technicians. These are our trade secrets” and kind of shrugged haha. Just kind of an unprofessional response, if they had taken a couple minutes to assist I would’ve brought my other devices there. But I think that slight makes me want to go to a mom and pop pc repair place instead of geek squad. I figured out and fixed my issue so we are good there. Just wanted to document the little annoyance I got.

  Man that dude told me it would take a week. It took less than 24 hrs. I salute Geek Squad Lewisville. They took time and listened to me and fix something that took me a month to figure out

  Will Reed helped solve a troublesome issue dealing with an old monitor, a new laptop and a way to get my third monitor working. Will came up with a solution that worked, and I'm back to 3 monitors and more efficient doing my job. I really appreciated his expertise and patience with me as I talked through multiple potential solutions that didn't work. I love what will came up with. Thank you Geek Squad and Will!

  Do not trust this company with my laptop anymore. I took my laptop in 3 months ago to fix the problem i was having. My four key was typing on its own. They shipping to geeksquad lewisville and they replaced the keyboard on my laptop. Sent it back still typing 4. Sent it back. They went through the programs and updated my tobi eyetracking software which evidently was causing a weird glitch on my computer they said. Sent it back. Theres damage to my laptop where it looks like they tried to pry open my laptop with a flathead screw driver. Not only is the damage on the laptop on the bottom half were the keyboard it but it is also on the top half where the screen is at. So i sent it back so they can fix they damage they caused. First off they guys at my local store are pretty good at their job didnt have problems with them. Ever since the past time i sent off my laptop a month ago i cant get contact with the people who actually have my laptop(the geeksquad in lewisville) i cant see where my laptop is and all they keep telling me when i call the help number they keep telling me that they are waiting for a part. Which is what they have been doing since two days after they got my laptop. They cant give me a phone number to call ive spoke to supervisors and agents and they cant give me any other information. At this moment i cant locate my laptop.
