A truly terrible and very expensive experience. The doctor didn't even seem like a doctor—she was very young, and well, there are a lot of young ones out there who don't know what they're doing. My Shih Tzu had green diarrhea and was vomiting; she told us she had no idea what was wrong. It was the night of July 4th, and she said that if it was a poision, we’d have to wait 72 hours or take him to our regular vet on Monday. They gave him an injection and IV fluids, and gave us some probiotics—it cost $505 for that, yet she couldn't figure out the cause of the green diarrhea or the vomiting. Our baby is doing very well now, but they didn't actually fix the problem at the time, and the worst part is they DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS WRONG. Why didn't she just tell us to take him somewhere else? It’s a rip-off—don't go there. I honestly don't think they even have licenses to practice medicine. We are going to sue.

Im giving 5 stars because yall have been nothing but polite and helpful for me in my situation. I came in as a Pup sitter, watching 4 pups 1 of them got into it with her lill sister and the bigger sister got ahold of the little sister and ripped her front left leg open. (As shown it the pictures ill post after she's stitched back up so I can show before and after) Well I called my peps and let them know what had happened and cried and they told me to take her here to VCA Animal Hospital and y'all took her back amd have examined her and done yalls part with a short staff. Yeah its taken awhile but at least I know this pup is in good hands 🙌 I don't know if this is cheap or expensive, I thought for everything your doing with a short staff is amazing. It cost 1729. 34 to fix her front leg make sure there is nothing but a tear, that needs stitches or staples or maybe even a bandage. Im not sure im not a veterinary doctor. Thank you for taking such good care of her. Not putting names cause I don't want to put my peps out there like that nor their pups. Good coffee in the waiting room.. ☕️

This place was amazing the staff was very friendly and patient with me and with what I was going through they went above and beyond to help me they listen to every I had to say they gave me time to say good bye to my sweet momo and then after they gave me more time to say my good byes they didn't rush me to leave. I picked up her ashes today and it was so beautiful

I can’t say enough about this clinic. A week ago my husband and I rushed in with my 15 year old cat who had been seizing for over 30 minutes. The front desk staff immediately saw the distress our baby was in and got a tech to come get her to start working to help her. The front desk staff as so polite and professional and sympathetic to my husband and myself. As soon as they had our basic information they took us a to a room. Once in the room the tech who came and got our baby came in to get us as her heart was failing and she knew we wanted to be with her. Every single step of the way through this heart wrenching process they were there and supportive and compassionate to our needs. After our baby passed over the rainbow bridge they allowed us as much private time as we needed with her, even making sure to wrap her in a blanket for us to hold her while we said our good byes. None of this is how we wanted for our babies time to be, we wanted it to be peaceful with no pain and not afraid and panicked, but that turned out not to be our choice. I am just so very thank for the VCA Emergency Hospital and their staff were there for us, I don’t know what we would have done without them.

My wife and I brought our 11-year-old Golden Retriever, Jax, here for what we hoped would be a procedure to help with his breathing, but it sadly turned into one of the hardest days of our lives. Dr. Reitmeyer showed both us and Jax incredible compassion throughout the entire experience. She was honest and caring as she explained his prognosis and helped us understand that euthanasia was the kindest option. When the time came to say goodbye, she offered comforting words and gave us all the time we needed to be with our beloved boy. Everyone we encountered—from the front desk staff to the veterinary technicians—treated us with kindness, empathy, and respect during an incredibly difficult time. We will always be grateful for the compassion they showed our family and for the dignity and care they gave Jax in his final moments.
