I recently experienced a serious car accident and I contacted this business to let them know that, due to my injuries, I would be unable to work for approximately 6–12 weeks. Unfortunately, I was extremely disappointed with the response I received. Rather than showing any understanding or offering to work with me during a medical emergency, I was told by the "manager" that I needed to make a payment that same business day and was threatened with police involvement and repossession of the merchandise if I did not. I understand that businesses have policies and that payments are expected, but I believe there is a much better way to handle a situation involving a customer who has just suffered a serious injury and temporarily lost their ability to work. I hope management takes the time to review how situations like this are handled. A little compassion and willingness to work with customers during unexpected hardships would go a long way.
