  Dr. Pham was amazing, very thorough and took the time to answer all of our questions, she also handled our kitten so well.

  On May 4th my world charged I took my precious King Charles Cavalier spaniel into this Office. She was seen by Dr. Sears. I took my pet my love because she had a squeak when she would cough. The doctor examined her. We decided to do bloodwork she took Bella to the back. She recommended x-rays ultrasound. We decided to wait for her bloodwork to come back before moving forward. She had a heart murmur so she sent Bella home with two medication‘s a couple of days later Dr. Sara’s phone me told me that Bella had cancer. She wasn’t sure what kind of cancer, but she said it was more than likely leukemia and this cancer moves very rapidly. I asked her if we could run Test to be sure and maybe possibly we could do something to save my beautiful Bella. She said there was nothing we could do. She gave me absolutely no hope on saving my baby. I cried on the phone uncontrollable. She said she was sorry In August 17 I took Bella to living well and Katy for a second opinion, her squeak had now began to sound like congestion. The doctor told me she did not have cancer. You cannot diagnose cancer through blood work. We did a chest x-ray. He sent me home with more medicine told me she was not in heart failure. And should be better in a couple of days My baby girl died four days later I took her to emergency room because she couldn’t breathe. My heart is still broken and it’s been six weeks. I can’t stop mourning for her crying for her feeling like I failed her , This is my hope that maybe you’ll think twice when you take your pet to this clinic because although Dr. Sears is not there anymore who is to say the next doctor could misdiagnose your pet I’ve spoken to two directors affiliated with VCA. They tell me the doctor must have read another pets bloodwork because nothing in the doctors notes indicated Bella had cancer how about that? Had the doctor read the correct bloodwork I would’ve move forward with more testing and got Bella on the medication she needed. It would’ve saved her life. She would still be with me right now. I’m sure of it. My baby girl fought into her last breath put her down was the worst experience I have ever had saying goodbye to someone you love so dear, knowing that I failed her these people gave me the wrong test results. I beg you be very, very careful. They even offered me a refund on her blood work if I didn’t tell my story . That’s an admission of guilt as far as I’m concerned Gone but not forgotten please please copy and paste my story Together we can help save someone else’s dog or cat or animal they love even if it’s just one let’s make a difference together.   I recently brought my car in for routine care for her bum. When I asked the vet tech about any advice on her scarfing and barfing lately (she’s a fatty and during the summer I was home a lot and feeding her snacks I shouldn’t have), the vet came out and immediately began with the urgency issue. She suggesting we need bloodwork now. I was fine with that. She called to explain the bloodwork and told me my cat was in early stage kidney failure, had a heart murmur and would need thousands of dollars in specialist testing. I asked for the bloodwork and they didn’t send it. After the runaround, I went in to have them print it for me. All her testing was normal. Some high normal, but normal. Then since I’d already paid for her food, I asked for a printed prescription so I can have it on file. I may or may not stick with it. They gave me the run around for 5 minutes and it turns out they just wanted me to buy from there. Completely unacceptable. Worst scam.

  VCA Kelliwood is my favorite, but more importantly my dog LOVES all of the staff and actually doesn't refuse to go. The staff are all so kind and the Doctors are the absolute best around!
