I’m extremely disappointed with this repair experience.
The monitor was returned with physical damage that was never disclosed to us. Instead of informing us honestly, the damaged areas were covered with tape. The buyer later removed the tape and discovered the holes, which caused embarrassment, loss of trust, and financial damage on our side.
What made the situation even worse was the attempt to imply that the buyer may have caused the damage, despite the monitor being returned to us already covered with tape. That is completely unacceptable.
This is not just “minor cosmetic damage.” The real issue is the lack of transparency, accountability, and professionalism. If the damage had been disclosed from the beginning, we could have handled the situation properly and honestly with the buyer.
Very disappointing customer service experience. I would not trust this company with valuable electronics again.

Took my vintage audio gear to Bammel TV. What a great experience. Hard to find a company with their knowledge about vintage stuff. They checked my stuff out when I arrived and found nothing wrong with it. No service fees or charges. Even showed me a few tricks on how to operate the old gear. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

These folks are awesome. They fixed my Mackie CR8BT studio monitors(power supply rebuild) after Mackie told me no amps back plates were available for purchase for my model. They have a great team. I appreciate the updates Derek. Kudos A+

My McIntosh integrated amp started developing low volume distortion on the right channel. I looked up online and this place is the only certified McIntosh repair shop in Houston.
I dropped off my amp and paid the diagnostic fee up front. It all went well until I received my diagnostic. They told me the issue is from a heat sink which raised some questions as I can’t see why this would cause distortion. Because of the questionable diagnostic and the expensive cost to fix, I asked to not have any repairs done. Right away someone called me after and told me it was actually another problem, and not the heat sink. While I know some misinterpretation can happen, I think telling the correct diagnostic the first time should be a priority.
Regardless, I still requested to pick up my amp with no repairs done. I asked multiple times if I will receive the amp the way I dropped it off, which is both channels working with slight distortion on the right. They told me yes.
I picked up my amp from them and out of nowhere my left channel is no longer working. When I called, they told me the solution is either to take the top panel off myself and check for “loose wires” or drive 30 miles again for them to look at the amp.

Spent more here to have nothing done than I would have sending my Focal tweeters to Germany for repair. There's in depth video of the repair online that I had mentioned as well. Purchased new drivers instead, and somehow the $250 they already have from me isn't enough to cover the labor of 8 wood screws and four solder connections.
The functional tweeter had its foam scraped off. That's the only visible labor done. The driver needs to be pulled first thing for the repair. They looked at it, decided NAH not a simple cap job, and asked for $370+ to replace the drivers. That's almost $100 per solder. I'm out $250, absolutely would not suggest for anything besides the most basic of electronic work here.
Cracked screens are considered irreparable damage. We recommend installing our BTV screen protector on your next television purchase to prevent such issues. For customers seeking large displays, we offer competitive pricing on 8k giant screens and 4k projectors compared to major retailers.
Do you buy broken TV's?
We do not purchase broken televisions. However, depending on the age and model of your non-functional TV, we may offer a voucher for a diagnostic credit on a future repair or a discount towards our BTV screen protector purchase if you choose to donate it.
How much do you charge per hour?
Our pricing is not based on a per-hour rate. Instead, we determine repair costs using a matrix of factors including product category, required technician expertise, estimated repair time, and necessary parts. We provide a customized quote for each repair, which is presented to you for approval before any work begins.
Is it worth repairing electronics instead if buying new ones?
Repairing electronics can often be more economical than purchasing new devices, especially for high-value items such as TVs, stereo systems, and amplifiers. It extends the lifespan of the device, reduces electronic waste, and preserves any sentimental value. The decision to repair depends on factors like the device's age, repair cost, and expected post-repair performance. Our technicians can provide a professional assessment to help determine if repair is the most practical option for your specific situation.
How do I know if my TV or electronic device can be repaired?
The repairability of a TV or electronic device is best determined by a professional technician. Most TVs, stereos, amplifiers, and appliances can be repaired if parts are available and the damage is not extensive. Common issues such as power failures, screen or audio problems, and circuit malfunctions are typically repairable. Our technicians conduct a thorough assessment, explain available options, and provide a cost estimate to help you make an informed decision about whether repair is feasible and practical for your device.
