I went into the store and checked in for an appointment two hours later. After two hours, I came back and was told I could now check in to be seen. I was finally attended to 30 minutes later by someone who simply wrote down the device’s serial number and said a technician would come to help me shortly. Another 30 minutes later, the technician finally arrived. It feels like Apple Store visits are treated as an “experience” rather than something that should be handled efficiently. Everything took far too long, with zero concern for the inconvenience caused.

The Apple Store at Highland Village is beautiful. The store looks modern, elegant, and very well maintained. The design feels open, clean, and premium, which makes the whole experience very pleasant. The location is also excellent, with a more relaxed and upscale atmosphere compared to a busy mall. Overall, it is a great Apple Store in Houston and definitely a very nice place to shop or get support.

Thank you so much DJ for helping me out with my iPhone issues. You helped me out tremendously although you were already closed. You provided helpful tips to get iPhone back to normal.

Beyond ridiculous. An absolute circus of incompetence. If I could give this place zero stars, I would. I have been trapped at the Highland Village Apple Store since 12:40 PM. It is now 6:00 PM, my entire day is completely ruined, and I am still sitting here waiting just to get my unfixed device back. I was explicitly promised it would be ready at 4:15 PM. Instead, after making me wait nearly six hours, they finally come out to tell me they can't fix it at all and that I now have to come back for a THIRD TIME next week to just get the whole device replaced. Why couldn't they have figured that out five hours ago?! The timeline of this nightmare is completely unacceptable: Visit 1: Made me wait over an hour just to tell me they didn't have the parts and needed to order them. Visit 2 (Today): Held my device hostage for almost 6 hours, missed their deadline, accomplished absolutely nothing, and didn't even fix it. Visit 3: ...Which I now have to waste more of my life doing because they couldn't get their act together today. The lack of communication, complete lack of organization, and utter disrespect for human time at this location is stunning. Extremely unprofessional and deeply frustrating. Do yourself a favor and avoid this store like the plague if you actually want your tech fixed.

An appointment apparently means nothing at this Apple Store I made an appointment specifically to have my iPhone battery replaced. After I arrived, the staff first tried to sell me on trading in the phone. I declined. They then tried to steer me toward promotions from my wireless carrier. I declined again. Only after wasting five minutes on sales pitches, and another 10 minutes of waiting, did they tell me that they could not replace the battery that day and that I would have to come back tomorrow. The employee then said, “you can speak with the manager,” which only made the situation more absurd. Was the battery replacement actually unavailable, or was it negotiable if I complained loudly enough? If the store could not perform the service, it should never have accepted and confirmed the appointment. At a minimum, someone should have told me immediately upon arrival—not after subjecting me to multiple cross-selling attempts. Apple presented this as a service appointment but treated it as a sales opportunity. My time was clearly less important than their attempt to sell me a new phone or redirect me to a carrier promotion. Completely unacceptable.
