My wife & I recently moved to Flower Mound for less than a month when my K-9 partner became lethargic and obvious signs of pain. I had absolutely no clue as to which veterinarian to take him to that wouldn't be a guess as to what was wrong with him. With Extreme luck along with the guidance from GOD I walked into VCA ANGEL ANIMAL HOSPITAL. I didn't have an appointment and I was desperate. Low on money from just having moved. They took us back to a room IMMEDIATELY and examined Wrath. After the examination I asked what we owed. The Dr. advised what amount was owed. I asked if there was possibly any discounts that I might qualify for and without a second hesitation the Dr. said the exam fee would be waved asking if that would help. I was floored! Folks,.......These people at VCA are not only Amazing, Professional, Genuinely Caring & Compassionate & just DAMN GOOD PEOPLE. The Dr. advised he had a pinched nerve. Within just a few days Wrath was beginning to return to his old healthy self. Afterwards they literally followed up on his recovery. But answered my questions with almost instant text responses and NOT FROM A COMPUTER!!! Legit real live Dr. answering questions by text, while performing regular everyday duties of taking care of everyone else's crisis, and yet still taking time to reply and advise me of what to expect while he's recovering. VCA,..... THANK YOU FROM THE BOTTOM OF MY HEART AND GOD BLESS YOU ALL.

I went in for my fur baby to get help and the nurses where scared of him. But I thought they could handle a Chihuahua. SMH. Everyone knows they have an attitude. Then the front desk lady was rude during check out, I was inquiring about some dog food and she acted like I couldn't afford it and asked if I had a prescription. Like Hello,I was being seen so they couldn't write me one. Which only took 3 mins. Wish I didn't buy it though because my little guy just wanted something to eat since he was fasting for no reason, nothing needed done during the visit. Well here's the real kicker. They sent me a quote for the procedure he does need and they want 3k. Guess since I bought the food at $40/bag. Im sorry but I'm a single fur babies mom that can't afford that. Now my little guy is still needing surgery and I don't know what to do. Thanks for nothing VCA. BTW no one wants to hear you gossip in the backroom while waiting to be seen. Time is limited when you only have 2 days for personal time away from work.

This hospital only wants your money and doesn’t care about your pet. With their smorgasbord of vets there’s no telling who you will actually see. We brought our sick Blue Heeler in and had to wait over an hour to see a vet. Once they did see us and did the blood work on Daisy they realized she had signs of anemia due to her low RBC. They said she needs a blood transfusion and sent us down the road to an animal VEG ER that was very professional and actually cared about our Daisy. Daisy’s body rejected the blood transfusion and we ended up having to say goodbye to our sweet Daisy. The next day my wife called and cancelled the monthly heartworm pill that they had been charging us $30 for. My wife told the receptionist that Daisy had passed away. The receptionist expressed her condolences and said that a vet would be calling us to follow up. That was over a week ago and no phone call. They got their $450 for blood work, they were satisfied and washed their hands off it. Terrible, unbelievable response from this hospital. Please look for other options for your pet.

Dr. Unger is without a doubt the best vet we have ever experienced. We love Danielle too. We received the most loving care for our dog Chaps for over 5 years when we moved here. Dr. Unger is the most caring and knowledgable vet and happily raised Chaps to 18 years old. A milestone!

We usually have our favorite doc here but saw Dr Graham today! Wow!! We were so impressed by his level of care and the connections he made with our dogs today! He was just amazing! Way to go VCA for having another awesome doctor on staff!!
