  My wife and I have personally experienced the same type of issues that other reviewers have described. The constant phone calls have become excessive, including calls appearing as private numbers. I have already explained that I was unable to make the full payment at that time. I was initially told they could not accept a partial payment because of company policy, but after continued calls and frustration, suddenly a partial payment could be accepted. That inconsistency has made an already difficult situation worse. I understand that I am responsible for making my payments, and I am not complaining simply because they are attempting to collect money that is owed. My concern is the frequency and manner of the contact. My wife and I have received repeated calls, including from private numbers, and some conversations have been rude, abrupt, and at times involved employees raising their voices. There is a professional way to communicate with a customer who has already acknowledged the account and explained their situation. Repeatedly calling does not change what a customer is financially capable of paying at that moment. After looking through older reviews, it was also concerning to find other customers and references describing similar experiences with repeated calls. Some of those reviews go back several years, so seeing similar complaints while experiencing these issues ourselves is troubling. Because of the ongoing communication issues, I am currently in communication with Western Finance corporate and have also pursued a formal complaint regarding what my wife and I believe has become excessive and harassing contact. I am giving the company the opportunity to address the situation through those channels as well. Again, I am not disputing my responsibility for the account. This review is about how Western Finance of Floresville has handled communication and collection efforts with us, particularly after we already communicated our circumstances. Anyone considering a loan here should make sure they clearly understand the company’s policies concerning late payments, partial payments, collection calls, references, and how frequently they may be contacted if a payment becomes past due. I will update this review depending on how corporate handles the complaint and whether the communication practices change.
