• This review is long overdue and really doesn’t even scratch the surface for good work these people do. I have brought my dogs to VCA Katy Trail for the past 5 years now. All three were treated with so much love and kindness, as if they belonged to each staff member.
• Dr. Withrow treated my senior dog through tumor removals, dental surgery, arthritis, and even diarrhea. She even provided senior care until he passed away from heart failure at 20 years old. After he passed, I received a letter in the mail from her that offered condolences. About a month later, I found out that a charitable donation was made in his honor from the VCA Katy Trail. I was moved to tears, because they honored my best friend.
• My other 2 fur babies have seen Dr. Snyder, Dr. Withrow, Dr. Sledge, Dr, Waller, Dr. McKenny, and Dr. Johnson. All of these veterinarians treated allergies, stomach issues, weight loss, dental problems, etc. Everything was done lovingly and kindly, as if my pets were theirs. I was heartbroken to hear about the loss of Dr. Johnson. She had such a wonderful personality and loved animals with all her heart.
• The technicians are always able to clip my dogs’ nails, give medications, collect samples, and administer shots. My dogs are especially difficult because they don’t like shots or having their paws clipped. Deborah, Vivi, and Daniel have done such a great job, and are very gentle. Tara and Ben are especially great at handling anxious dogs. I have one, who is protective of his brother and gets vet anxiety.
• The support staff have also handled aftercare instructions, medications, and billing for us. Everything was done precisely, with great communication. It’s always an absolute joy to receive updates and calls from either of the Kevins, Darren, Kristina, Kathy, and Jeanne.
• I've lost sleep from health scares, tumors showing-up, bladder stones, stomach issues, and things eaten. This team has brought me SO much relief. Every time I drop my animals off, I just know that everything is going to be OK. There are so many veterinary clinics in DFW, but I trust this one enough to call them our “family vet”.
