Welcome to VCA Tanglewood in south Austin, TX. We are a friendly, comfrtable, medically full service AAHA accredited veterinary hospital. Our caring and skilled veterinarians provide well pet and sick pet services, for puppies and kittens, adults dogs and cats, and senior pets as well as small exotics. Our services include physical exams, vaccines, spay, neuter and pet dental care; surgeries, hospitalization, digital x-ray, ultrasound and laboratory testing. We care about you and your pet, and will help you take the best possible care of your lovalble companion.

Every appointment of experience I’ve had with this office has been a wonderful experience. I moved from South Austin and still make the trek down here when needed.

The entire staff, doctors, vet techs, front desk staff are polite, courteous, compassionate, and go out of their way to support you no matter the task. The VCA app is also very beneficial to see results and for the messaging service, even just the message the following day from the team checking in is always so appreciated. Crookshanks unfortunately recently passed away but the level of care and support from the whole VCA Tanglewood team throughout her whole life was the best care we’ve ever received and their support through end of life care made an extremely hard process easier to manage. We can’t recommend this team enough. Thank you VCA Tanglewood.

It was an emotional and difficult experience, but Mary was incredibly kind, patient, and compassionate throughout the entire process. She made me feel supported without making the moment heavier than it already was. Her calm and caring presence truly helped me get through a very hard day. I’m very grateful to Mary and the entire team for treating Junior with dignity and our family with such genuine care.
