  I cannot say enough good things about VCA Lakeline and the compassion they showed us during one of the most heartbreaking moments our family has ever experienced. Yesterday, we had to say goodbye to our beloved 11-year-old Shepadoodle, Skippy. Saying goodbye to a member of your family is never easy, but the entire team at VCA Lakeline treated Skippy—and us—with an incredible amount of kindness, dignity, patience, and compassion. They understood that this wasn’t simply saying goodbye to a pet. Skippy was family. The staff never rushed us, gave us the time we needed, and handled everything with such gentleness and respect. Their compassion made an unimaginably painful experience a little easier to bear. We are incredibly grateful to everyone at VCA Lakeline for taking such good care of Skippy and for taking care of us when we needed it most. The kindness they showed our family is something we will never forget. Thank you, VCA Lakeline, for giving Skippy such a peaceful and dignified goodbye. ❤️🐾

  I just Paid for a hyperthyroid panel that cost me $200 For my cat. I thought that was a lot so I looked it up on ChatGPT and it said if your vet is charging you 200 or more dollars for this type of panel they are overcharging you by a lot. That should include a lot more like an exam or something. I had it done by a tech. Not sure why it’s so high. I’ll definitely start looking for Evette that may have lowered prices. Tough to think I might have to do this again!

  I have been coming here for many years with multiple pets. The care is good and staff is good. However, there is a new or additional practice that I do not like. Before or after the vet sees my pup, a vet technician comes in with a list of things we can do along with prices. I then ask about what the vet recommends, and am told that I am supposed to choose the activities I want performed. I find this very frustrating because I have come to this clinic to engage the expertise of those who are trained and experienced in pet health, ie, the veterinarian. I am in no way qualified to select what needs to be done if my pup is sick or blood, etc needs to be tested. I do appreciate the heads up on costs, but I would prefer that the vet instruct me what needs to be performed and present the plan. That’s the reason I come here in the first place. In summary, I do not find this practice to provide any value in improving my pets’ health.

  We've been coming here for several years. The front office staff has always been very helpful and remembers us when we come in. Another we've seen several of the staff we primarily are Dr. Mong and he has been fantastic.
