    I purchased a vacuum in September 2024 and added a protection plan that doesn’t expire until September 2027. When my vacuum needed to be replaced under that plan, I expected a replacement of the same product. Instead, I was only refunded the sale price I originally paid and told I would need to pay the difference to get the same item again. To clarify the policy, I called customer service in front of the manager and put them on speaker. Even they confirmed that the product should be replaced with the same item (or an equivalent) under the protection plan. Despite that, the store still refused to honor it. This completely defeats the purpose of paying for protection in the first place. A replacement should match the original product without additional out-of-pocket costs. Additionally, the manager, Luis, was unprofessional and lacked basic customer service and management skills. The experience overall was frustrating and disappointing. I wish I could give them a zero.

    If I could give zero stars I would. And I don't normally give bad reviews, but my experience with Geek Squad was so negative, I had to. I scheduled an appointment with Geek Squad for battery service on my Mac book. My appointment was for 7:20 pm on 4/23. I arrived a few minutes early and checked in. Then the service rep proceeded to help, not one, but 2 walk-in customers without appointments, ahead of me. Finally, just after 8:00 pm, it was finally "MY" turn. I spoke up to the other agent who was to help me that it was extremely poor customer service to help walk-ins before those with appointments. She said the other agent was new and made a mistake. I said, 2 mistakes, one right after the other? It should be common sense to help customers with appointments before walk-ins. Then, the agent helping me said that they couldn't fix my battery. They would send it off to Apple, and it would take 2 weeks. She also said that if I would've taken it into the Apple Store, they would fix it on the spot. That sure would've been nice to know before wasting so much of my time. I will never use Geek Squad again.

    Geek Squad doesn't answer the phone. Today my partner went over to pick up the computer's that we dropped off on the 23rd and didn't call us on the 24th saying that it was ready. Secondly they said that their wasn't any Chromebooks for repairs on her ticket but I was there when the girl came over and took both Chromebooks to the back. Either they are going to find out what happened to the Chromebooks or they're going to be paying for both of them. I hope that they are reading these reviews because I'm on my way back up there. You can't lie to my partner when I was sitting down in the cubicle when the girl came and picked them up.
