Staff is friendly. It can be difficult to find a sales representative at times. But I've never gone to the greeter and was NOT helped, so I can't really complain. Their front staff are amazing and nice.

I visited the Best Buy in Allen, TX with my daughter today and left feeling pretty disappointed. It took about 10 minutes just to get someone’s attention, and I eventually had to approach someone myself. The person I spoke to appeared to be a vendor and couldn’t assist me, so they had to find a Best Buy employee. When an associate named Ahmed finally came over, the interaction felt very dismissive from the start. I asked about the Oura Ring because I was considering purchasing it, and instead of walking me through the product, he gave very minimal, surface-level answers. When I asked about sizing, he mentioned there was a sizing kit and asked what more I needed. I was hoping for a bit more guidance and product knowledge, especially since this is a popular item and his badge indicated he’s been with the company since 2022. Instead, it felt like I had to pull information out of him rather than being properly helped. After I said I’d keep looking because the interaction was very disappointing, he didn’t acknowledge me or close out the interaction but instead he just walked away mid conversation. I noticed him casually walking around the front half of the store with Arizona tea can in hand while customers were still waiting for assistance, which felt unprofessional. On a positive note, the associate who helped me at checkout was kind and helpful, and the manager on duty seemed approachable. However, it was surprising that this level of disengagement went unaddressed, especially when it was happening so openly. I understand retail can be demanding. I have worked in it myself, but basic customer service and professionalism should still be a standard. Unfortunately, this experience did not reflect that. I hope this associate receives coaching and takes accountability for how he engages with customers. If he is not willing to provide a basic level of service and treat people with respect, then he should reconsider whether this role is the right fit for him.

TERRIBLE ATT SERVICE. I went to fix an issues I had with services I connect at ATT in Best Buy. The 2 representatives acted extremely clueless and the lady had a I don’t care attitude. I’ve never experienced such HORRIBLE customer service in my life

What a horrible experience , looked on line spotted a laptop Lenovono Ideapad Abyss it showed they have 2 in stock walked to the customer counter asked the sales rep he keyed in and literally in 15 seconds informed it’s not available and it’s an old machine which is worthless mind you I only needed it for light office work, emails and other minor entries , anyways I walk over to the display section found the exact machine available went back to a different employee who confirmed it’s available and brought it out I paid and transactions done . Obviously now I had to go and ask the employee who told me it’s not available while I am asking him what happened a female jumped in and introduced herself as a manager and abruptly cut my conversation off and stated that i should have approached her or ask for a manager who’s adult and raise my concern , makes no sense she wasn’t the one who informed me of the product not in stock . Super rude very agressive and totally unprofessional. The employee involved immediately walked off no apologies no remorse . They both need to be reprimanded or maybe fired . Only employee that helped was Aaron promote him very nice and very helpful . Now let’s go to second part another another employee from the phone section approached me trying to sell a cell phone plan which I was very much interested in I told him once I get done with this transaction I will come over and maybe buy a new phone when all the conversation was over between me and manager I told her well you just lost a sale the employee from phone section said out loud I wasn’t going to sell you a phone anyways . Unbelievable the entire crew is acting like a brotherhood. Best Buy take action I don’t expect anything done because if these employees treated me like this then chances are every one is getting treated like crap and upper management DOES NOT CARE . Good luck with some more store closings like in the past .

Updating review since they want me to do more work to talk to them instead of addressing the porblems I would rather everyone have this information available for any future law suits or to keep them from dealing with companies that don't care about there customers. If you call any best buy store you will be greeted by an AI that apologizes immediately because it is still learning *shakes head* FILLED with confidence at this point. Ask to talk to an associate at the store. Had to repeat this to AI multiple times for it to begin searching for inventory. Finally to got it to connect me to a real person. That person said they were at the store in Allen. I asked about inventory on a specific item and he put me on hold to look. He came back to say he is not sure and I would have to go to the store. I asked again if he was the store and was told yes. Then I asked why he couldn't physically check for me because is part of Allen's "online sales team" and there is no way to talk to anybody at the store anymore. I couldn't believe the response and I told him thank you for the last time. I am calling in the middle of a work day for my disabled sister who is in Allen and can't make the call herself. My good deed left me frustrated and angry with how much companies only care about the bottom line and have killed all of customer service. PS. Tip for anyone doing returns through the phone you can often get these AIs to give you full refunds and coupons. Plenty of tutorials out there. Original review: I can't call the store directly for inventory and the AI you have to talk to doesn't know. My disabled sister wanted to check if they have something before she has to get her wheelchair out and pay for a ride there just to see if they have something. Best Buy has been terrible to me and my family the last month. I am done with them
