  I purchased a Cricket phone online and took it to the store to be activated. Upon arrival, I was questioned by Liz what I paid for the phone. She relied take it back you can get one free from us. I asked how to which she informed me that I could get the Galaxy phone free there with a new line. I would not be able to keep my existing phone number. This is not an option for me. I have used the same phone number for almost 20 yrs. She had the box with my new phone including a new sims card. She deactivated my old phone. Made me purchase yet another sims card from the store for almost $11. She played on her phone texting people and viewing Facebook after 30 plus minutes she informed me that the phone is not usable with their service. Questioning this because it was a new Cricket phone. She said some Cricket phones are not compatible with Cricket service. I would need to return the phone to the store. Also, informed me that Cricket customer service wasn't open for the problem to be looked into so just return the phone and could get a phone from their store. She also informed me that my old phone was deactivated; I said I have to have to have a phone for tomorrow at work. She then replaced yet another sims card into my old phone but was going to send me out without a working phone before I questioned if I would have service on my old phone. I left the store and called 611 Cricket Customer Service who was STILL OPEN despite being told at the store they were closed. I explained to the gentleman that I purchased a new Cricket phone online and needed to get it activated. I told him the store charged me for a sims card. He questioned why they couldn't get the phone to work and why they would have me purchase a sims card with a new card being in the box. I had no answers to cover for Liz other than maybe she thought she would be able to bluff me into a new phone for more commission. He asked for the number on the sims she placed into the new phone. When he tried to plug this number in he advised it was not a new sims card it was assigned to another phone. He asked for the sims card number in the box with the new phone. This number was given to him. He activated the phone in minutes my new Cricket phone that I was informed by the store not compatible with Cricket service was working beautifully. I guess her Facebook and personal text plus commission was more important than customer service and good ratings for her store. I spoke with Liz today at the store. She advised still that cricket phones do not work with cricket service. Even with me calling her from that cricket phone 😂 She said she couldn't give refund for the sims she sold and didn't need. When I asked for a district manager information she didn't have that information, conveniently. She advised me to keep calling the Jefferson Co store to speak with supervisor. I called again, no answer at the Jefferson store. I called the other Morristown location and was instantly given an email address for the manager. #cricketnation
