  I am extremely disappointed and stressed over my final dealing with them. The first visit they seemed more fearful of my Rottweiller than capable. I figured he is a big boy and they do not know his mannerisms yet. They did spend quite an amount of time with him and were kind through the whole meet up. Round two. He goes back for necessary vaccinations and an exam. I informed them that he was still having issues limping on one foot. They immediately said they could do xrays on another visit. They informed me that the cost of his services needed for that day would be over $600, however, if I joined Care Club, that amount would be reduced to under $300 for that days services. I was informed that Care Club was great and would cover exams, emergencies and certain other services that were not verbally defined. Of course I opted to join so I could afford the Care my boy needed. First issue, I called to get medicine for his pain and was charged. I guess Care Club doesn't cover that but I did not complain. The X-rays were scheduled but I figured I better call to be sure they were covered, well they were not. My first quote over the phone was over $800. When I questioned what good this Care Club was, he then told me they could cover 1 image but my Care Club monthly payment of $64.99 would go up to over $100. We'll now Im really confused. So then I get a call saying they could drop ot to just over $400 and my monthly payment would stay the same. During this time frame, I called around and got a second opinion. I could get 3 x-rays for $180. I took my big boy there and a vet that was not intimidated by him, handled him properly and saw a corn on his foot with no x-rays needed. Obviously I have changed vets. Now getting out of the 12 month rip off of Care Club is an ordeal of its own because youre locked in. Then they say you owe them money for discounted services if they let you out of it because Care Club is a separate entity. So Care Club got my monthly payments, only 2 I believe and did NOTHING for me and VCA says I owe them money if allowed to cancel. Insanity. Overpriced. This is the most sheisty price changing operation I have ever experienced. Bare in mind, had I not got upset about the $800 quote they would have gladly taken that amount. Do with this what you will, but my advice is call around and compare prices because they were way more expensive than the vet I am using now.

  Hello readers and VCA staff. After being a patron of this company for years, it’s time to speak some truth. VCA is overrated and overpriced. Every year the same services increase and there is always a new provider. One of the current ones, Melissa Smith- could be a little nicer and less rude. Do you recall that “well it’s a bacteria infection, so how it’s not ant bites” comment? When I spend $802 a visit, watch your tone and mouth. Additionally, how was I supposed to know that beforehand? Anywho, maybe you’ll see us again or not. You never know who has all the time in the world to write google reviews. Happy Friday!

  We have been at VCA for almost 20 years now! Dr Fordney is the smartest, most caring vet I have ever known and the staff is so friendly and helpful. So grateful to have them in my pups corner!

  Growing up, I’ve always had a lot of animals and constantly in and out of vets. This vet is like no other. I’ve never had such a good experience, they are so sweet with your animals and can tell they genuinely care. They are priced great but really their personalities are the reason for this five star review. These are true animal lovers!! Thank y’all so much !!
