    Very disappointed with the customer service at this Apple Store today. I came in intending to purchase a new phone and waited around 30 minutes after checking in without being helped. The employee at the front seemed dismissive from the start and didn’t properly communicate what the wait would be. What made the experience more frustrating was watching several people who arrived after us get assisted first. Before leaving, I asked if someone would still be helping us and was told yes, but no one ever came over. I understand stores can get busy, but basic acknowledgment and communication go a long way. Unfortunately, the experience was poor enough that I decided to leave without making my purchase.

    DO NOT PURCHASE THE BELKIN SCREEN PROTECTOR! Unfortunately, the Belkin screen protector is the only option available at Apple and so I assumed it was a good product - wrong! Within one week it started cracking and chipping, within a month it had cracked throughout. I’ve sitting at Best Buy getting a totally different protector. The warranty is worthless as the charge for shipping for the same crappy product.

    Unfortunately, I did not know that the person that I was asking questions to was so called a store manager or manager on duty either or. When I proceeded to want to ask him towards the end, how long it would take For them to get to me to make the purchases that I wanted, he proceeds to tell me that I have already asked “way too many questions already,not going tell me that information he’s the manager and he’s not a social associate.” I think many people could have mixed opinions on this, but I personally find this very unethical mind you everyone that works. Here is literally wearing the same clothing. How would we know the difference from either or And I find it unprofessional for him to respond to me in such a way and also with the response, a very high attitude and loud as he’s walking away, embarrassing me towards other customers it was a very uncomfortable situation. I have never experienced such behavior.

    When I make an appointment, I expect some individualized attention. Don't sit me next to another couple and discuss my information within ear shot of other people. And then flip flop between helping me and helping them. Had to drive 2+ hours to this place for my son's phone. Got there, with an 11:00 am appointment, sat (well I should say stood, since there are no seats for people waiting), we arrived early because we knew downtown Charleston traffic would be crazy. We were checked in and waited. When helped, they stated the phone needed a board replaced. We were told the phone would be ready at 2pm. 2+ hours only to come back and be told the screen had a minute crack and couldn't be fixed. They had my wife's contact number and they could have easily called her once this was discovered and we could have been on our way home. Instead after arriving at 2pm and waiting some more, we were handed my son's phone and said since it was a 16 Pro, they didn't have any in stock since the 17s were out. They would have to order one. Fast forward 2 weeks they let me son know his replacement phone was ready for up. Drive back 2+ hours only to hand the tech my son's phone and she hands me a sealed box 17 Pro. This could have been taken care of 2 weeks prior. They did absolutely NOTHING to set the phone up and my wife had to spend and hour on the phone with T Mobile transferring everything (including the actual phone number) to my son's new phone.

    Great experience at the Apple Store! I was greeted immediately by friendly and helpful staff who were very patient, even when I became frustrated trying to explain the issues with my iPhone. Special thanks to Sam for being so supportive and knowledgeable while walking me through things I didn’t understand. Excellent customer service!
