  We are so grateful to have an emergency animal hospital close and available to us. The staff was great. We were seen very timely. It was such a relief that our dog was able to be treated when we needed her to be. A lot of people's comments on here are pretty negative. It's an animal hospital. Expect to wait just like emergency rooms. The staff I'm sure does the best they can. They see us in stressful times and the patients they are working with cannot talk to them which doesn't make their jobs any easier. I think before people complain about the services here they need to think of the alternative of not having any animal hospital close by to go to. Or going to another one and having a similar experience. Thank you to the vet technician, doctor, and receptionist we saw the evening of July 12th. We are so grateful our dog is back to good health!

  Dr. Branner was more than fantastic. She brought so much empathy and compassion to a situation that was extremely difficult. This doctor truly deserves so much recognition for the incredible work she does. I have interacted with a fair share of veterinarians throughout my personal and professional life, and she exceeded any expectations previously set. 10/10 highly recommend, and thank you Dr. Branner from the bottom of our hearts.

  I don't remember everyone's names, but from the reception desk, to the vet tech, to the vet, every single person there was amazing, helpful, professional, but above all very sweet and nice people. My dog was in a critical condition and needed immediate care and they very quickly had me come over and they helped her. I am a first time client and my dog is a first time patient at VCA Old Marple and they treated both of us with complete care as if we've been going there for years

  I was here for the first time recently and really enjoyed the environment. I received a VCA healthy start certificate when I adopted my kitten (this is how I discovered VCA). There was a little bit of a wait, not awful. I had a 3pm apt. and left at 3:40 so not bad. The reception staff was friendly & helpful. The tech was also kind & helpful. The vet himself was great. Really, everyone i interacted with was happy and friendly. The waiting area was plenty big enough, the room was clean. No complaints. Everyone answered all my questions and treated us like we were more than just another face. They saw my orange boy, Axton! He was in for a new kitty wellness, I also appreciate the goodie bag - it included informational reads, revolution plus, two laser pointers, a vca themed bell ball, a toothbrush & toothpaste, and a bag of food! Super cute surprise. I am terrible with names but the receptionist who checked us in/out was really great! Thank you VCA! 🤎

  Just average. The staff were nice. I had my kittens nails trimmed. $50. Huh? Even the girl who rung me up rolled her eyes and recommended I go anywhere else for that service. It was very busy. Many phone calls coming in. I heard staff saying to people emergencies could be a 3+ hour wait. I felt so bad hearing that. I wasn't there for an emergency but 3 hours is long!
