- JSJennifer ShearerJun 7, 20261.0I really hate to do this but feel I must. I am doing this for a friend/roommate who just got screwed over by cricket. We went in over a month ago as we both needed help with Separate things. He asked to be placed on automatic payment and was put on that. I warned him as to why I have never done that with my phone. Please keep in mind that my roommate is not Internet savy at all. Well, just this weekend. He was booted from the automatic payment without stating why. Anyway, so he made his payment the old way and had a confirmation text or email as proof. Then he began receiving warnings that his phone had now been disconnected and he now owed $73.00. So, they refused to do it over the phone and made him come in. They said that the phone could be turned back on for a $15.00 fee! Not $5 and bare in mind that he had proof that he had paid already. Yes they've seen the messages. I have never had problems but then again I don't trust autopay worth a damn. Congratulations, you ripped off a senior citizen for $15! That's another thing. You need to offer senior citizens a discount!

I had trouble getting my pin from my current carrier and she helped assist. Once the number got ported to my phone, which was supposed to be unlocked, she again very patiently assisted. Transfer of number was finally successful and I owe it all to the patient and confident help of Bre... Thank you! I hope Cricket realizes the asset of you as an employee!
