They don't care about animals, only money and sticking to their "appointments"

I have taken my dogs, Coco and Bella, to this practice for over seven years. They know us well and had seen us multiple times just in the last month. Yesterday morning, Coco experienced a sudden and severe medical emergency. She was in visible distress and I truly believed she was dying.
Before even leaving my house, I texted the office to say this was an emergency and that I was trying to get there as soon as they opened. While driving with my suffering dog beside me, I received a call from the front desk. I was crying and explained that Coco was in complete distress and that I needed to bring her in immediately.
I was told they “had other appointments” and that they could not take us. When I asked if they could try—reminding them that Coco had been their patient for seven years—the response was snarky and completely devoid of empathy. I was made to feel unreasonable for asking for help during what was clearly an emergency. I was told the earliest appointment would be 9am and that I should go to the 24-hour emergency vet if I wanted help sooner.
Because of this, my already critically ill dog had to endure nearly 30 minutes in stop-and-go traffic to reach another facility. Coco was nauseated, crying, and suffering beside me in the car during what turned out to be her final moments. We had to put her down shortly after arriving.
No one from this office ever followed up to see if we were okay or what happened to Coco. For a practice that markets itself on compassion, this experience was devastating and felt like a complete failure in a moment when empathy and urgency mattered most.
Emergencies happen. Long-time clients deserve to be treated with humanity in their worst moments. Coco deserved better. We deserved better. I will never return.

Took our cat in because she’s been acting lethargic for the last few days and not really moving around much. Diagnosis of Fever of unknown origin came with a bill of $700+. Absolute nonsense. I’d recommend going anywhere else but here.

I've been taking my Golden Retriever here since he was a puppy back in August 2016, and have had nothing but positive experiences. The vet techs are all extremely friendly and helpful, and Dr. Kinneman is wonderful with my furbaby. My dog literally get's so excited to come to the vet - and this is after he had his neutering surgery here! He waits by the door in the exam room for Dr. Kinneman to come in and gets so excited to see her.
Dr. Kinneman and the staff never try to push expensive tests or anything - most of the time, I am worried over nothing and they save me money. One of the vet techs recommended a while back that I get my dog pet insurance because he had eaten several things, and was likely going to keep doing so - so I did and saved a lot of money and peace of mind.
They are very accessible and always make room for last minute appointments when something goes wrong. I was googling them to check their hours today and saw the negative reviews and was SO surprised - I've been very happy here!
