    Definately not the store it used to be! Wasnt a wow me experiance. What they got going for them vs a department store like the example of Fred Meyers or Target, is that they only stock electronics so they have more room for electronic products. The selections arent what they used to be and i used to justify the Best Buy price premium to the convienence. Now i havent figured out what Best Buys ROI is compared to just hitting up the local department stores.

    Same prices as Amazon but you can talk specifics with staff. Speaking with staff especially with a product line that has so many options saves tons of research time. I was in the market for a modem and separate router. I did some research of what the marketplace had to offer and was able to articulate my need to sales person and identify a solution.

    I got some great equipment from this location, and what stood out to me was the outstanding customer service representative who supported me in my selection. I had a great experience working with Mr. Shwam. He was very knowledgeable and worked very hard to get me exactly what we needed. I definitely appreciate his attentiveness and patience with supporting my selection. He was a model representative and went above and beyond to get me from a to b. I would hope management recognizes him for his hard work and dedication to the team and to customers.

    I had a really frustrating experience with a store associate here. I was trying to get a quote for an alarm system for my truck, but the person I was speaking with seemed completely out of his depth. He kept asking questions that were totally unrelated to the alarm system. I explained that I was specifically looking for an alarm system, not just audio equipment. He then gave me an estimated price without even asking about the type of alarm I wanted, like Viper or Compustar. So, I called this morning and asked for Geek Squad. I was so grateful and gave a big shout-out to the agent who helped me and finally gave me the correct estimated price for an alarm system.

    I’ve had two terrible experiences at this location recently. Last week, I came in to pick up a specific item and knew exactly what I needed. The greeter at the front asked me what I was looking for, and said they'd let that department know I'd need help. I knew I might have to wait a minute or two, as it would be locked in a security case, but I then waited almost 20 minutes without being acknowledged, even though staff were helping other customers nearby. When someone finally was free to help, I noticed a much higher total than expected at checkout. Turns out they grabbed the wrong item. Not only did they have to go retrieve the right one, they also ran to grab credit card info packets from somewhere (seemingly very far away!) to push their credit card promo which added extra time. I only needed a camera body which I verified was in stock prior to arrival, and had no other questions whatsoever, so had my toddler with me who was beginning to lose it. I was also highly pressured to sign up for a store credit card after I had already declined twice. The pushiness was pretty upsetting. Then yesterday, I had a Geek Squad appointment that I scheduled through Apple for 4:40 PM (and have the confirmation email), but was told when I arrived that my appointment was actually at 4:20. The interaction felt dismissive, and the tone came across as though my being there was an inconvenience. I double checked my appointment time when got home and it was in fact 4:40! My issue wasn’t able to be resolved, which I understand and am not upset about that, but the overall experience was awful. I know things get busy, but I wanted to share in case it’s helpful feedback around communication and customer experience. Screen grab of my 4:40pm appointment confirmation from Apple is attached.
