I have been sitting on this for over a year. Against my wishes, my partner convinced me to take my cat, my emotional support animal, here after a move and she was stress vomiting and had fleas. I took my cat in May 20th of 2025. She was mostly fine, just needed some medicine for fleas and the associated anemia and maybe something for stress. I was there with my 1½ year old and said partner. The people took my cat without even letting me see her, didn't even take us to a room, just handed me a clipboard and told me to sit and wait. We were financially strung out, and instead of offering some sort of payment plan, they just kept asking if I could pay that day. I ruined my credit score as I was desperately trying to get an approved loan from somewhere online. Without even letting me see my cat once after they took her from me, the vet came in and told me she was sick, and I knew that. She then said it would be costly, and I said "Please save her" I was asked three separate times if any of the credit loans were approved. At this point my 1½ year old was having a total fit, and my partner took them outside to drive back to the apartment, as the vets made it seem like we would be there a while as they worked on my best friend. Not long after they knew I was alone, the vet came in and told me my cats heart stopped. I begged them to save her. She came back and told me they got her heart beat back, but that it stopped again. She left and came back a little bit later and told me they got her pulse back but there was no sign of brain activity. I was crying and begging to see my cat, thinking if I talked to her she would come back. So, tell me why, when I BEGGED for them to save her and the vet told me they were trying but she just didn't have brain activity, that when I walked into the room they had already disconnected her air. How can any brain activity come back with NO AIR???? I was alone and they knew it. They asked me 3 times if I could pay them that day, and when the answer was no the third time and I was alone, they told me my cat died on that table. So, at that point I called my partner and he came back with my kiddo, and they had HIM sign a euthanasia authorization paper. Again, they asked me 3 times if I could pay that day, they waited until I was alone, and they stopped giving my cat air while I was still begging them to save her. They covered their liability by getting my partner to sign the euthanasia authorization AFTER my cat was already gone. Please, for the love of your animals, go nearly ANYWHERE ELSE!! These people don't care about anything but money. If they truly were trying to save my cat, she would have had air when I went in to talk to her. There are two images burned in my brain about my sweet bean, and sadly the look of pure terror on her face when I went in to talk to her and she was gone is one of them. They killed my cat, and they got my partner to sign that euthanasia authorization to make sure I couldn't go after them for their pure selfishness and cruelty. Never ever ever take your animals here unless you're putting them down, as that seems to be their specialty. EDIT: I will email, as i did last year, and even in your reply here as well as last year no one could answer me WHY was my cat NOT receiving air when I was begging for her to be saved? WHY were the euthanasia papers given to my partner to sign? I will email, and I will make sure to post that email thread as picture edits to this post.

Brought my pet in around 2:30, they saw us by 4:30, they said come back at 6:30 they'll be ready to go. Instead we found that they had barely started at 6:30. They close at 7:00. Guess who was shoved out the door at 7:00 PM, with a pet that had been hacked open and closed up exactly at 7:00 so they could go home on time? They didn't even do what they were supposed to do - they claimed they couldn't successfully drain or remove the abscess but it's pretty obvious they were more concerned about getting home to watch TV than treat my pet. I will NEVER go here again.

Never coming here again. Edited to clarify that I am not upset that there is a wait or if anyone is seen before me. I only expect communication and kindness. The front desk people here are rude and do not communicate with customers properly. I walked in and was handed a clip board and told to sit down. The business emailed me as if I’m just unhappy about a long wait and “chose to leave before anyone could assess my dog” I love that you prioritize pets based on their needs. I could care less about that. Don’t email customers placing the blame on them when this has nothing to do with wait times or who was taken first. Go to Bridgetown Vet in Tigard!. They greet you when you walk in, communicate wait expectations to your face and don’t just ignore you and expect you to only notice their sign.
