  They where so kind and caring during an extremely difficult time there compassion was so genuine and they took such good care of our dog as much as they made sure we where ok as well I am beyond so grateful for they way we where treated there and I will send anyone there because of the wonderful way we where treated and the warmth and kindness shared there

  All the vets and staff that I've worked with here have been great. They have repeatedly seen issues that we miss, and made sure that we and they follow up to verify treatments are working. I am happy with how the pharmacy works. They also handled "euthanasia with absolutely no notice" in the best way possible for a heartbreaking event.

  Yes, I’m glad they did give free exams for recently adopted pets. If you bring the paperwork of adoption, save me $120 but because it was gonna be a free exam they wanted to hydrate him with a iv bag and and supplements to help him eat because they said he was severely dehydrated, even though it was one night he hasn’t drank and now he is drinking like normal eating like normal. It was just one night out of the four nights since he’s been adopted literally they want your money not anything else. It took two hours being there and they took advantage of my mental disability of PTSD and stress and that I just recently lost my emotional support dog. Even when I told the nurses and billing staff that I have like PTSD and social anxiety and it’s been way too long. I’m freaking out being here. They still took a long time to get everything done.

  Due to my own stupidity, I allowed my 16 yr old amstaff terrier to take a dip in the Columbia river. A small wave flipped her and she drowned, immediately becoming unconscious. After revival I telephoned my current DVM could not fit her in. VCA SE Portland accommodated her immediately upon arrival. DVM Currah and staff were fast and efficient and are the reason my pup is still alive and recovering at home today. Thank you for being so fast and effective and accepting a new patient under duress.
