  Latte, my newly adopted rescue dog, had ear infections and other medical needs. DVM Rastetter clearly explained the process for the treatment during the appointment and the take home medication as well. The technician was very kind and gentle towards Latte as to avoid any unnecessary pain during the treatment in her ears. Dr. Rastetter was very thorough and had reviewed Latte's medical records from the Shelter and was able to identify some steps missed that needed immediate attention. She contacted the shelter so they could finish the vaccinations as not have to repeat the process and be an additional cost for me. She suggested treatment plans for Latte's other conditions and was once again very transparent in price. This kept me from feeling overwhelmed and regretting the decision to adopt from a shelter. It was good to experience a Vet appointment without judgement and an understanding of budget and the need for time while I sort through Latte's medical needs.

  Dr. Danielle Rastetter was phenomenal in taking care of my male border collie pup. He was apparently born without one testicle and one kidney! I consulted her because ALL she does is SURGERY so I knew she likely would have seen almost every anatomical variation when it comes to spaying, neutering, and special circumstances. I love my family veterinarian practice, however they could not find my dog’s right kidney nor right testicle on ultrasound in the office… Rightly so because he didn’t have either!. When no one else could figure out the anatomy, Dr. Rastetter did without additional testing and she took care of everything! She informed me of the risks of the surgery, follow up needed and also risks long-term of this genetic variant. As it’s very uncommon, she researched the case before she performed the surgery and kept me in the loop on every thing! Her staff were so friendly and efficient! Everyone was compassionate and next day follow-up was so appreciated! The process saved me over $1000 cutting out a middleman with the Med Vet Specialty clinic recommended by my veterinarian. My family is very grateful for Dr. Rastetter’s knowledge and expertise! Thank you!

  Dr. Rastetter did an amazing job taking care of Socrates. I will for sure be coming back. She explained everything that was going on with his surgery and after well. Socrates healed faster than I expected. The personal communication was incredible. The night after surgery she texted checking up on us seeing how he was doing and that meant a lot to me. Communicated very effectively to make sure the drain was functioning properly and the incision was healing well.
