  Mason was great! He greeted us! Checked us out and sign us up for a credit card and membership in minutes! Great kid!

  Had to pick up a hard drive. Lots of emptier shelves, but we do have a "war" going on. 🤔 Could not get any of the Nerd Herd to make eye contact - not one offer to help, so I got one gent as he started working on a computer setup. He got us taken care of, but seriously, only 2 or 5 TB external HDDs on the shelf? No real upsell, except the obvious. I even mentioned considering a NAS. He didn't bite. If I wasn't in need, I would have gone elsewhere, but I'm sick of giving Bezos my money, aren't you?

  My renew date was approaching and you system keep reminding me of the impending charge. I call the local Best Buy to talk about my options. Your ai answered and I told her that I wanted to talk to the member desk . She insisted about what. I told her that I wanted to talk the a member about my options. She would not let me talk to a person. When I talked about I needed to understand my options or whether I wanted to cancel. So she asked me do I want to cancel? I told her I wanted to talk to a person. She repeated do you want to cancel? I finally yelled back with some descriptors! Fine cancel it. Which she did! Sent me $ 1.91 credit. So in the next day or two I got up to Best Buy to try to resolve it. I talked to a manager and his response was there is nothing we can do once I cancel it. You can’t extend your coverage on anything you have purchased! Corey the corporate business manager who set the policy won’t let them get rid of the ai phone system and let people talk to the customer! So I was screwed by your AI chat box! When I asked to talk to the service desk , I should have a person who understands the customer and not a stupid inconsiderate AI bot! Lost a customer! Been buying from you guys for years! Ai is not developed enough your business I am a programmer and it is not where it needs to be! Jon Buchanan

  Dayton Mall Best Buy let me buy an open box 83" LG C4 that was a display model. They marked the quality as "Open Box - Excellent", but when I got there, it was missing the box, all accessories, stand, etc. It should have been marked fair, if anything. It was clearly an old display model, but seemed in okay enough shape. Regardless, I rent a van, I spend 3 hours transporting it and the van to and from Home Depot. I plug the TV in... It doesn't work... The warranty should cover me, right? Geek Squad is super helpful and the guys that came by to try to fix it did order parts and attempt to fix, but could not solve it. They did mention trying to contact the Dayton Mall store to see why they sold a TV that in their opinion, shouldn't have been sold as is. They could not reach anyone. After trying to get a call back from them for a week while waiting for repair parts, no one contacted them. They then explain to me that the warranty doesn't actually cover full replacement on open box products, just a refund/credit towards a different product. So now I'm out over $100 in gas and rental fees and materials to transport. Online support can only help get it returned and refunded. They told me to contact the store to see if they can do more, but guess what - you can't actually call the stores. The Geek Squad guys even tried to contact the Dayton Mall Best Buy to see why they sold a TV that was in "as bad a shape as this" in their words. Shame on me for not doing more due dillegence, but I just feel like I wasted a ton of money for nothing, weeks waiting for a solution, with nothing to show for it. Support is now telling me I have to spend more money to buy a box that fits it and put a shipping label on it. Uhhh. No.
