I didn't know anybody worked there. Had to hunt someone down since NOONE was in any dedicated sales area, they were all clustered together up front being all buddy buddy with each other instead of doing their job. Then when I did find someone, they had to find someone who even worked in that dept. It's not just best buy, it's everywhere. These kids are a pandemic. Zero stars

Went in today to buy a phone tablet. My boyfriend does not speak english and uses a translator, so we are a bit slower. No matter, because we didnt take up much employee time - they didnt give us much. The first came in extremely hot with a sales probe, but we dont need this. We are looking for an item for a gift going into a country that restricts certain brands. We know exactly what we are looking for as a result and do not require the upsell or sales attitude; which seemed to upset us. While we were communicating with thr translator on his phone about the phone my boyfriend wanted (2 sentences into the conversation. We had not even taken 60 seconds of this man's time) he shouted over us to help the next guest find something.
We walked on and decided on a tablet as well - now hoping to purchase a phone and tablet. I said that guy was rude lets get somebody else, and approached 2 women working there. The one in the top gun jacket helped us, and to be fair she was kinder than the man who helped us at first. But when my boyfriend didnt want to get the best buy plan (and he was attempting to communicate that he already had one) she said "you dont want to save money? Thats crazy." And walked away to go get the phone. It might seem small, but its this passive aggressiveness when the upset is declined and treating the customer based on potential sales.
She had previously mentioned the phone could be picked up at the strongsville location, so after she said that we looked at each other and said why are they so rude? And decided to go to strongsville for both items. We purchased both and another phone in strongsville. Turns out he not only has the best buy membership - he has the highest tier version of it.
Its not crazy that he didnt want to get a membership he didnt understand, and he was trying to communicate that he things he has one using a translator.
Strongsville had 0 problems getting him everything he needed and more.

if i can give 0 stars i would - worst service ever at this place. james the “manager” very rude and unhelpful when one of his employees sold me the wrong item and i had to go back to the store to get the correct item. no apologizes or trying to make the situation, basically treated me like it was my fault for getting the wrong when his employee didn’t even let me hold the box until AFTER i paid for it.
