- BSbernd schonrank4 days ago1.0May 2nd 2026 I had taken my 8 year old cat in to have a Renal Function Panel done and x-rays due to the fact he has congestive heart failure. The vet checked him out telling us his heart sounds good and lungs were clear with Renal test results coming back with good results. The following week May 9th I had brought my cat back for he did not eat for three days and was breathing hard they gave me some cream to rub on his inner ear to make him hungry and sent me on my way despite the fact he was breathing hard while there and they even mentioned that. Sunday May 10th he was admitted to VCA Metropolitan Hospital where we had to put him down his lungs contained fluid and he had a constricted air passage. The Medical doctor there asked why he wasn't admitted the prior day? NEVER ever will I step foot into Burton Veterinarian clinic nor will I refer this place to anyone!
