Thank you very much Jim for all your help today on getting a new iPad to replace my broken one, trading in my old phone and my new power bank. I wish I remembered the name of the 3 other employees who helped me and my dad. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The store was very busy but it didn’t slow them down. They noticed us right when we came in and helped us immediately. Explained everything perfectly and patient with us. I really appreciate the kindness from everyone there. It truly makes all the difference and they were very knowledgeable too.

I had the same experience as Trellis - see their review. I went in with my iPhone SE 2nd gen to get a new battery. I clearly said I was not there to buy a new phone and would not buy a new phone. I was asked repeatedly to consider my expectations. I was told I would only get 20% more battery power (my phone was only holding 77%). Told by the worker they wouldn't recommend to their family to change the battery, not worth it. I said "Oh, so I shouldn't replace it. If you hand it back, I will leave now and just use it the way it is and charge it every 3 hours. That will save me $69." Then told, no, no, no - not what she meant. I said what did you mean. You said you wouldn't recommend changing the battery. Again she brings up my expectations. Again and again I said I am not buying a new phone. Again and again she says "I am not trying to sell you a new phone." It was pure gaslighting. Then she has the nerve to say I have the right to my opinion. I am very disappointed with my experience. Also sad - I have had several Apple watches, airpods, macbooks, powerbooks, etc. None of their batteries died as fast as my iPhone SE has died. Every update seems to cause the battery to burn out faster and faster. I can see why folks switch to Android. I am a very disillusioned Apple loyalist.

My friend took his MacBook in for repair after spilling water on it and the employees told him it would be $1000's of dollars to recover his files that had extremely important and sensitive data. They told him he shouldn't bother with repair and that is was impossible and should just buy a new MacBook. He took it home and within 2 days recovered everything himself with the use of a friends mac. As a collage student he could have drained his savings due to incompetence and lack of understanding employees have of their products. It feels so predatory and apple has gone downhill as a company.

Anything that comes out of this company is designed to break so you’ll be forced to come back. Can’t wait for them to unban the Chinese phones, I’m switching immediately.

They didn't even try to repair my phone. They kept insisting on selling me a new phone. I will try to find a shop in NY that will attempt the repair. If it cannot be repaired, I will switch back to Android. Apple is going downhill trying to force new phones onto customers every year.
*Update* I found a shop nearby in Victor that fixed my phone. It had a shattered screen but Apple refused to fix it just because it’s an older model.
