  Let's just say I've been going here since they were family owned(25 plus years). This new corporate VCA model fairmount animal hospital is anything but efficient or passionate about your pet's needs. Yet I continued to go for years after this became the new norm, thinking maybe it was an off day. Nope. Its every tech, nurse and dr all with one intention: spending your money instead of addressing your main concern for the visit. They're in no means the cheapest option either. Im tired and I'm very remorseful of the neglect my pets have received these last 5 years of giving second chance after second chance. Please save yourself the headache and seek out real professionals from your local family owned facilities. They still exist and your pets needs will be put at the top of the list. I won't get into specific details but this place is disturbingly unprofessional and lack confidence in the ability of caring for your loved animal. Shame on you fairmount!!

  I brought my cat Gamora to VCA Fairmount during a really scary medical emergency, and I can't thank the team enough. They took the time to lay out all my options and worked with me to figure out the most realistic plan for her. I never felt rushed or judged while I was there. I really want to mention Dr. Markham, Bridget (the vet tech), and Ann at the front desk. Bridget was incredible with Gamora. Hearing her talk to Gamora while bringing her back and clearly explaining everything to me when the exam/treatment was done meant a lot on such a rough few days. Dr. Markham was a straight shooter who clearly cared about doing what was best for her. And Ann was a lifesaver at the front desk. She spent extra time working things out for me behind the scenes so I didn't have to stress about the logistics and could just focus on my cat. I’m really grateful I brought Gamora here, especially on such a difficult day.

  Very nice people and clean environment. Have been bringing my cat here since she was a kitten and never had a bad experience. They are very accommodating in an emergency and a have been able to fit me in last minute. Can be a bit expensive if you don’t have care club but it is worth it for the quality of care

  Dr Guest and her assistant Laura had the opportunity to exam and treat my shih-poo Jameson. They were so kind and caring and most informative. I've always had great treatment from all the staff and truly appreciate their kindness

  Liked everything about this vet, Staff was great and very informative, Dr. listened and explained everything . My dog and I were very comfortable. Everything was easy to understand. Big Thanks.
