  Tried to call to find out how much international paperwork would cost through them. They gave me the cost of a visit but refused to give me any paperwork cost even estimates until I pay 100 something dollars to be seen by them. That’s absurd, and you should be able to give at least a minimum cost of what the paperwork is especially since I said, I’m not asking The cost for if they need anything extra, just the paperwork cost. Don’t waste your money here.

  They undersold our cats dental health to us and now she’s in a severe position. They told us our cat was stage two periodontis. Turns out not a month later we went for a second opinion and she is a stage 4 severe case and most likely has to have many teeth removed on the top and bottom. VCA quoted us around $4,000 for a dental cleaning and if any teeth have to be pulled they will have to charge extra. FOUR THOUSAND FOR A STARTING RATE on stage 2??? While also telling us that we didn’t have to do it immediately and booked us for a dental almost a year out.. since it’s “stage 2”. They would tell us the coloring on her gums was natural due to her coat and breed. I mean hell they would confuse our two cats all of the time when they look completely different. The amount of money they charge for exams and services- even having their care club insurance is astronomical. Our cats were around 10lbs and they pushed us to get their weight down because they’re in an unhealthy bracket, trying to sell us food. So not only is my cat suffering with an infection and NO CARE, they have us under feeding them as well. Our poor girl needs oral and injected antibiotics, and is going to lose most of her teeth and VCA just sent us home with nothing to treat her after seeing her, multiple times. I KNOW deep in my body that this place would’ve ran us for our money. Would’ve told us that she didn’t need as much work done and then would take all of her teeth out once they had her and charge us even more. How can a vet have the heart to push off such a severe situation and leave it untreated. We are besides ourselves that a practice runs like this. They’re preying on emotional individuals for money and it’s sickening. Corporate, capitalist and heartless. They should have their licenses revoked and be completely dismantled. Dr Daniel Viado has seen her in August of 2024 and March of 2026, Dr Hendawy in August of 2025 and Dr Jessica Tam in July 2026 AND YOU’RE GOING TO TELL ME AFTER A FULL WORK UP NO ONE SEES THE GROWTH SEVERITY. I’m absolutely beside myself. And VCA don’t you dare reply to this with one of your BS copy and paste responses offering your sympathy and to contact you directly for my grievances . YOU HAVE NO SYMPATHY and you’re lucky I’m not speaking directly to you about what you all collectively have done.

  Super thorough and empathetic! I refuse to go anywhere else for our pug’s care and the staff feels like family at this point. Very intelligent and understanding veterinarians

  Brought 5 year old cat in for a cut on her belly. They used glue to seal wound and sent home and had to wear a cone...very understandable. Doctor said otherwise she was in great health including saying her teeth looked great. 14 days later brought her back for a follow up...and being charged another 100 bucks for the office visit...seen by a different doctor...this one says oh have you been putting the ointment on...we said no, we weren't given any ointment. So after 14 days of wearing a cone which would have been a perfect time to be putting ointment on...we now have to annoy her even more by putting the cone on and off every time we put the ointment on. So on top of the extra visit charge this doctor tried scamming us into a teeth cleaning as he said oh her teeth are bad they should really be cleaned...Watch and listen to what they are telling you...don't hesitate to question everything they say...and maybe get a second opinion.

  The doctor prescribed Amoxiclav (Clavamox) 62.5mg for 7 days and they charged me $64, which is very high compared to other places. I want to mention that 7 day treatment with this medication(which is 14 tablets) costs $3-$5 outside. Since it was my first time, I bought it without knowing that the price is too high and it didn’t even include the doctor’s wellness checkup or other tests. I understand that you might get medication at higher price at vet clinics, but how can you charge people $64 for something that is actually $3-$5 ? Never buy a medication from this place. Just ask for a prescription and buy it from other locations
