  I needed a place to bring my 17 year old almost 18 year old tabby tabby cat when she started acting differently. I suspected hearing loss or possible ear infection or feline dementia because she meowed more. When she was examined, they confirmed that she likely has age related hearing loss accompanied by some feline dementia. The vet never tried to sell me the Brooklyn bridge but recommend options like blood panels and herbal remedies. So I never felt pressured. I ended up purchasing the herbal remedy recommend and I will see how it works instead as spending top dollar on a geriatric cat which is not very realistic when she is still functioning normally in the most important areas ( eating, drinking and using the litterbox regularly). I am so thankful I can still enjoy some more years with my girl. The vet was confident and knowledgeable. I even had my exam done free for being a new client which was a nice perk. I would bring her back as well as my other cat if needed in the future.

  We brought our cat of 14 years that my wife had raised from a feral kitten to Doctor Eric. Our cat “ Lovey “ was at the end of her life. Doctor Eric was very compassionate throughout the visit and he made sure that Lovey was comfortable during the process. We have used VCA Pine Bush for around 15 years for our dogs and cats. We have never been disappointed. They have a wonderful , thoughtful and knowledgeable staff and I would recommend them to anyone and everyone.

  I moved to the area in October and was recommended this vet by a few people. Both of my cats had great experiences here and I didn’t spend too long waiting for anyone. My senior dog never had an appointment until her very end. The staff was compassionate from the start, remaining very professional and answering any questions I had about how they handled euthanasia. Dr. Evans has amazing bedside manner and made my dog’s passing a little easier on me. So far, I have no reason not to recommend their hospital, they are all wonderful and knowledgeable.
