  I love the Apple store at West 14th. The employees are knowledgable. If they don’t know the answer, they make sure to find you the answer. Always courteous and friendly. Many even have a sense of humor. I’m older than many of the workers. I appreciate that they aren’t condescending when i ask questions. I love that i don’t feel rushed. The genius bar is great too. And i sign up for some of their free events. I have been an Apple customer since the early 90s. I’ve also been referred to great freelance people who can check out your home-office setup and solve problems.

  Terrible service and complete disregard for the customer! ​I ordered the new AirPods 5 as a gift for my wife. The first time, the delivery service "somehow" entered the wrong ZIP code, so the package was sent right back to the warehouse. ​Fine, mistakes happen—I called customer support. The agent and I together carefully checked and double-checked the correct ZIP code to avoid any errors. And what do you know? They managed to ship the order with the exact same wrong index again! The item is heading back yet again. ​This is not the level of a tech giant; this is an absolute joke. Total incompetence in logistics and support. The gift never reached my wife, and my time and nerves were completely wasted. I have zero desire to ever deal with your online store again!

  I had a very disappointing experience at Apple West 14th Street. I checked in around 2:00 p.m. and was not assisted until about 4:15 p.m. I was then given conflicting information about how long my iPhone repair would take. While trying to retrieve a password in a very loud store, the team member assisting me was speaking extremely quickly and, to me, was not enunciating clearly. After struggling several times to understand him, I said, “You need to slow down, I can’t understand you.” My request was about comprehension, not disrespect. The team member went to his manager, Henley, who then told me that I had been disrespectful to a team member and asked me to leave the store and come back another day. I found that response completely disproportionate. I later went to Apple SoHo, where the same repair situation was handled calmly, professionally and efficiently. In fact, the team member there was wearing a mask and still projected his voice, articulated clearly, and made sure I understood everything he was explaining. That experience reinforced for me that my difficulty at West 14th Street was genuinely about communication and comprehension.

  This was the first time I’ve ever experienced something like this in an Apple Store. I came in this morning to get help from the Genius Bar at the Apple Store on 14th Street in NYC. Without expecting any special kindness, I was genuinely surprised by how I was welcomed on the third floor. The person who greeted me clearly didn’t seem interested in working that morning, and made it quite obvious — even the nonchalant way she asked for my information was surprising. I was then told to wait 35 minutes at a table. After an hour of waiting, I decided to leave, especially after noticing the following: the manager (I assume) spent about 30 minutes chatting with the security guard next to me; one employee was sitting at the end of the table on his phone; another had his earphones in on the floor (maybe that’s allowed) and seemed more focused on his music than on helping customers. Meanwhile, only three employees were actually assisting clients. I left feeling completely invisible — and it’s truly the first time I’ve ever felt that way in an Apple Store

  Had a terrible experience buying a computer at this store. If I didn’t need my computer today, I would have not purchased computer at this location.No one greeted or even offered to help. I had to ask for help and went to some African guy with small dreadlocks, beard and earrings. I said Hi can I get some help, he said what can I get you. I said I’m looking for a Neo MacBook color etc. I went to go check out computer and instead of him coming to me he told us 2 tables down here it is. I asked a question twice, very disengaged and rude didn’t want to help. I told him I asked you a question 2x if you don’t want to help me then can someone else help. He gave me a very snarky comment no one else can help. I went another African man with glasses and a iPad if someone can help since his colleague doesn’t want to help me. He had a lady help me, quick easy transaction and friendly. Apple has terrible customer service if you don’t like your job or like helping clients then don’t work customer service job! Lazy people working jobs just standing around and not working.
