- JMJ MJul 1, 20261.0Extremely disappointed at the service provided today 7/1/26. I have encountered a set of righteous obnoxious genius bar folks before in other states but this was over the top. My daughter checked in 15 minutes before her appointment, she was kept patiently waiting for an hour until she reached out and asked how much more time she needs to wait. Meanwhile she observed the genius bar employees loitering around and serving incoming new customers. On inquiry as to what caused the delay, they couldn't rationalize a credible answer. It is incredible a 4 Trilion dollar company (which is increasing product prices - as they see a monopolistic environment) serving in the midst of Manhattan has lost the sense of treating their customers right. Extremely frustrated and confounded by the service.

I know it won’t affect most people in going here but the employees here are not good at all they made me wait for over an hour for an appointment I made with them and then when I asked after being checked in what was going on they say to me somehow I was overlooked and the store was not busy at all and some employees were sitting talking to each other cause there were no customers. I don’t think it’s an issue with Apple rather the people they hired at this specific location. Please be better. Thanks!

What was supposed to be a simple phone upgrade turned into a 5-hour slog that didn’t have any resolution other than the employees and Geniuses instructing me to go home and try on my own.
