  While the staff are friendly, due to a processing error either in store or on the backend (no one seems to know), I have spent over 6 hours (and counting) trying to resolve what should have been a benign giftcard problem. Apple’s customer service has caused me literal headaches trying to get this resolved. It’s mind boggling how the world’s leading tech company is so extremely inept.

  Be ready to wait for 30+ min to get the attention of a representative at Genius Bar for any servicing issues - there is no order of severity, you will be waiting in the same queue even if your phone cannot be turned on. Quoted pricing for servicing is also ridiculous (no check for MagSafe charging and wanted to charge $700+ to fix a charging issue without further diagnosis), and kept on leading the conversation towards buying a new device. Do Genius Bar representatives also carry sales quotas?? I will not recommend anyone to visit this location for detailed diagnosis for device issues. A location that is extremely disrespectful of customers time and wallet.

  I recently learned that when leaving a review, it’s important to mention the employees by name so they can get the recognition they deserve! I went to the Apple Store today and was welcomed by such a genuinely kind employee, I believe his name was Tasui. From the moment he helped me, he was extremely welcoming, patient, and smiling the entire time. I originally came in to return my iPhone, but there ended up being a more complicated issue with the return. He made sure I got the right help and assistance. There was also another employee helping alongside him, and I GENUINELY apologize for not getting his name 😭 or properly thanking him before I left! Not that he’s forgettable He was incredibly sweet, patient, and helpful as well. What could have easily felt like a complicated situation honestly didn’t feel that way because of their help. Thank you both!!

  1/5 for extreme lack of accountability and poor customer service. Deleted my iphone, my esim, blamed me for their mistake, did not account for my time wasted, placed me again at back of line even after agreeing to get battery replaced for same price despite having 1+ hours wasted already. Simple customer abuse. Please stay FAR away from this store and their staff. Arrived for a simple battery replacement. Apple tech Brian took over my phone and went to Find My Phone, then clicked a button I could not see after clicking my Iphone 15- turns out it was erase . Ultimately my Iphone was erased- I have a backup from 1h ago, not the main issue. Issue is blaming customer for having their data erase. Makes no sense at all. I shrugged it off initially, but time comes for battery replacement and it turns out my eSIM was also erase, so I spent another 45min to finally get my eSIM reactivated, at this time I have wasted 1 hour in the store, nowhere near getting my battery replaced. I requested for this replacement to be waived due to the amount of time wasted at this point- denied by manager Sabrina- okay, again not a big deal. But after finally getting my eSIM back, I requested for battery replacement- placed to back of line again and a new wait of 90min. 1) Lack of accountability for their error 2) Poor customer service (their error, yet sent to back of line again to waste even more time). Ultimately 1.5h spent doing nothing but trying to restore my phone. Battery not replaced as I had more tasks to do this day and could not waste more time in the store with frankly uncaring staff.
