  I went to pickup my online order for the latest iPhone and I felt so judged by the employee. I didn’t get his name but he was shaming me for not purchasing apple care. I told him that I’ve never purchased apple care and I’ve been ok so far and he rudely replied “Well Apple care isn’t for me it’s for you”. I politely told him once again that I wasn’t interested and he insisted that I get it. I shouldn’t have to say no 5 times. He was also trying to sell me AirPods which I wasn’t interested in. Since I placed the order for pick up I figured I’d be in and out but I was in there for half an hour because the employee couldn’t take no for an answer. At the end of my transaction he didn’t even give me a bag to hold my new iPhone. Very unprofessional and rude.

  WOW! Another excellent interaction with Apple and the Geniuses. This morning I woke up to my iPhone not charging with the cable. I nearly panicked, but stepped back and assessed the situation. I believed there was something lodged in the port. I took it to the Apple store and Mable and Shad were so helpful. Mable made me feel so welcomed when I walked in and owned the situation. I was so worried because my AppleCare on my iphone expired less than a week ago, and of course, that's when I have my very first issue with the phone! She got me a quick appointment with Shad, who was with me in less than 5 minutes as a walk-in. He quickly cleaned the port and even tested 3 different chargers in the port to make sure it worked. He then showed me it was working and walked me through some details about how to get discounts and benefits for my businesses that I run. On the way out, I was able to reconnect with Mable about the AppleCare. She walked me through it and got it all set up for me. She also made it so personal and got to know a little bit more about me and told me about herself. I don't believe I'll be going to any other Apple Store if I can help it. Mable and Shad made me (an already Apple customer for life) a Nanuet Apple Store customer for life today. Thank you!

  This has been my apple store for a few years now, never had a problem. I've bought I have purchased a few items such as iPhones , iMacs, and iPads. I even enjoyed the virtual reality experience there. Went there yesterday with my wife to purchase a new iMac and was being helped by a nice young man whom I believe was a bit green due to his limited knowledge without the ability to answer some questions without constantly referring to his hand held iPad. I asked to speak to someone with a better knowledge base on transferring data from my old iMac to the new one and he took me to speak with an apple " GENIUS ". I had the opportunity to speak with " DAVI " . He never introduced himself but went straight into a an answer which I'm sure he has answered a thousand times and was tired of having to explain this process. At no time did he speak with us, he spoke TO us. Twice I attempted to make a statement or ask a question and spoke over me and continued his answer as if he has spewed it many times before and did not want to be interrupted. By the third time I attempted to ask a question and was cut off, I advised him of the fact that he was not allowing me to engage in this dialogue, or rather his monologue. At this time he stepped to the side, no longer acknowledged our presence and started speaking to someone else. The man just reeked of arrogance. I sought out a manager and had a conversation with him regarding this. He stated that he has never had a complaint of this nature regarding this employee but with the ease and comfort in which DAVI felt in communicating in this manner; I really doubt this is the first time he has addressed a customer in this manner. It is so sad when you seek a professional service from such a reputable brand and receive this type of substandard behavior. The only reason I gave two stars is for the favorable past experiences. If you are at the store and need tech help make sure you DON'T speak to DAVI, be patient and wait for someone else. Don't ruin your day like it ruined ours.

  I arrived 15 minutes before my scheduled appointment. Nick checked me in right away and said I could stay where I was. Hayk came to assist me. He was thorough, patient, and knowledgeable. Hayk immediately identified the problem with my screen as well as the spot where it began. Hayk explained the options to solve the problem. He brought me samples to choose from. He proceeded to place my order and I was done. I hope he will be able to complete the transfer when the computer arrives at the store.
