  "Our stay at YO1 was nothing short of extraordinary. We were enveloped in an atmosphere of refined luxury and genuine tranquility. Having experienced numerous wellness resorts , we can confidently say that YO1 stands in a class of its own.The rooms were impeccably spacious, serene, and designed with thoughtful attention to comfort. YO1 provides class facilities with aesthetic atmosphere and vegetarian food with nutritious ingredients. Would love to visit again sometime for wellness treatments.

  It’s an excellent facility if you’re looking for a great Health retreat upstate. Rooms are very spacious. The common areas for family entertainment is excellent to. You can enjoy some family activities in the evening after the dinner.. There are beautiful, hiking trails and staff is absolutely phenomenal. We enjoyed our family stay here thoroughly.

  Just visited YO1 in Monticello and honestly it was amazing. Got a massage and the therapist really knew what they were doing—left feeling so much better. My shoulders have been killing me and they actually worked it out. But what really got me was the vibe of the place. It’s so peaceful and calming, and the walk around the lake is beautiful. Like, you actually feel yourself relaxing just being there. It’s not some pretentious wellness place—just genuinely good energy. Everything was great from start to finish. Definitely going back. If you need a good massage and want to actually feel relaxed after, this is the place to go.

  Had an excellent stay at YO1 and would highly recommend it. The room was incredibly spacious, far larger than expected, and was equipped with everything needed for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The amenities throughout the hotel were of a very high standard and clearly well maintained. The swimming pool was fantastic and one of the highlights of the stay. It was clean, relaxing, and a great place to unwind. What really stood out, however, was the customer service. Every member of staff was friendly, welcoming, and genuinely eager to help. Nothing ever seemed like too much trouble, and they consistently went above and beyond to ensure guests had a great experience. The hotel has a warm and welcoming atmosphere, excellent facilities, and a team that clearly cares about its guests. I would definitely stay here again and look forward to returning in the future.

  YO1 has so much potential. The place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful views, and calming presence. However, the place does feel kind of abandoned. If you like your own adventure experience, then this might be the place for you. I went there with a friend for 2 night stay and honestly I had a nice time, but there were a few things that bothered me. This was my experience. Upon arrival, the parking lot and walkway to the hotel was full of geese poop. I tried to ignore it at first, but it was annoying having to walk around it everywhere even when we tried to go on a walk around the property. The lack of staff was clearly visible. Anywhere I went I thought I was going to get murdered or see a ghost because NO ONE was there. The few staff members that I did interact with were super nice though. We even got into conversations with a couple of them and they were very pleasant. We were "upgraded" to a balcony room but the balcony itself was dirty so we didnt use it. The room and bathroom were clean, but the first time the AC vents were so loud I couldn't sleep. We tried to tell the manager (i think?) but he was away doing a tour of the property and the person at the desk said there was no wifi to reach him. I thought it was odd they couldn't reach other because there was no wifi. What kind of business runs like this? I decided to wait for him anyway. He came back within 10 minutes and he switched us to a different room. This rooms balcony was also dirty but at least the room was clean and quiet, which I appreciated it. Not using the balcony didnt bother me. I enjoyed the clean comfy bed. Also, the fact that everyone was super nice and accommodating made the experience of asking to be moved to another room more pleasant, even if I had to wait a little bit. I was just happy to be able to get some sleep. We had breakfast at the restaurant and both times it was only the two of us. The outdoor seating was closed (im assuming also not clean). But the breakfast was really good. We got the pancake, eggs, and vegan sausage combination and yogurt with granola and berries. We didnt try the dinner. Instead we went out into the town and ate outside. There were two other guest in the hotel the night we got there and they said the food was good- so I am going to assume it is based on the breakfast. Otherwise, if you want anything to eat during off hours you'll need to go into town to get it. We used their gym, sauna, and yoga room. Like I mentioned before there was no one else there so it was really peaceful and quiet. The bathrobes in the locker room were stained but you can tell they had been washed. The yoga room was "self guided" i enjoyed this room the most. After the gym, we used the sauna for a little, showered, and then put on some meditation sounds and laid on the floor in the yoga room. The views were incredible. We didnt use the pool because it was so hot in there. The heat was overbearing. We did use the activity room for a little bit. Played darts and watched half of a movie. It has potential but didnt feel like a full game room. We also each got a massage which was ok, but there was an 18% admin fee we didnt know about (this was not the tip). That kinda left a bad taste on that experience. Overall. I was prepared for some of the issues because I had read the reviews but it really wasnt that bad. I think the biggest issue for me was the goose poop and the lack of food during off hours. Otherwise, it was a nice quiet time, we used the rooms that we could and made the best of it, the staff was really nice, and the beds were comfortable. I would probably come here again for the discounted price!
